If this isn't the best performance of Max Fried's career then it is definitely his best in a very very long time, this was master class pitching at it's best and the Max Fried that we all know and admire, also I would favor playing Adam Duvall over Kelenic every day ( big HR bat making this potent line-up even more dangerous ) but I know that won't happen, anyway two straight shut outs of the Marlins and I can't wait to see what the very capable Reynaldo Lopez brings tomorrow, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!
Snit should have continued to let him pitch game 6 of the 2021 WS. Fried was absolutely rolling that night. That was the best until he was yanked.
Snit tends to make some questionable pitching calls at times.
Did some looking and yes, this is the best start of his career. It's his third nine inning shutout, in the other two he struck out 4, allowed 4 hits in one, and 3 in the other, with no walks in either. Today was a 9 inning, 6 strikeout, 3 hit, 0 walk masterpiece done in only 92 pitches. He managed a game score of 87 breaking his recond of 85.

What an outstanding win for the braves. How about Max Fried!!!! Complete game shutout on only 92 pitches. What an OUTSTANDING performance from him. Really this is one of the best performances i have seen from him, shoutout to max man unbelievable work today. Offense also solid game, Duvall homers and michael and travis had great games once again. Really like what i’m seeing so far from the braves. Lopez on the mound tomorrow looking for the series sweep. Let’s go braves #ForTheA
What a relief to see Max be Max. We needed that. He got his mojo back. Tbh he missed a LOT of time last year it makes sense that he'd have a bit of a slower start as he got back into form. Makes me feel way better about our pitching to see him dominating again.
This was a Braves of old performance by Fried. 90s pitching when it was common for pitchers to pitch complete games with 100+ pitches. Good win tonight....*We gotta get Olson going. He's in a terrible slump right now.

this is one of the best pitching performances i’ve ever seen
Man.. Max has looked good after a nightmare of a start. Out of all of his best games in his career, this is definitely top 3. The Marlins couldn't barrel up anything.
I have not seen this a long while. A CG while throwing less than 100 pitches. What a night for Fried
Loved seeing the way he walked off after each inning especially after a strikeout with just an attitude like he knew he was better than every Marlins hitter that day. He looked somewhat angry and just really focused. Hope he rides this momentum and helps carry the Braves to a World Series championship.

this marlins hitting coach is terrible. john mabry was a horrible player when he played and now hes making the marlins hitters horrible as well. what is going on with josh bell?? hes worse than avi now. a .180 average is awful especially cuz he doesnt even run or play defense. what is he doing??? if he wants to stay on the marlins hes doing a great job cuz his trade value is negative.
