Another thing I’ve just realised. In season 5 Mace Windu implies that if Ahsoka returned to the order she would be made a Jedi Knight, therefore making Anakin a Jedi Master. Anakin succeeded in training Ahsoka to the point where the council would have knighted her, so the council could have technically still made him a master.
But in the original timeline them not making him a master makes so much more sense because he had only been a Jedi Knight for 6 months and had never trained a Padawan prior to Revenge of the Sith.

This is what I hated about Ahsoka in 2008, back when I was reading the Revenge of the Sith novel over and over, in that she conflicts with the previously established and far superior Clone Wars multimedia project. She isn't mentioned in the novel and I think to try and shoehorn Anakin into having an apprentice seriously undercuts the tension and mistrust present between him and the Council. It's a complete failure to understand Star Wars. But Dave Filoni "gets it," I hear, more than anyone else at Disney Star Wars? Fah. Dave Filoni paved the way to Disney Star Wars. End of story.

6:27 - 6:46 That's actually framing by filoni, the show clearly wants you to take her side in whatever matter/situation she's in. Anakin and Obi-Wan have committed countless war crimes themselves, while not being characterized as being disrespectful towards the sanctity of a ceasefire. Plus, it's literally not politics when the Jedi were SHOWN that they obey the laws of the Senate, and the Chancellor is _President of the Senate..._ God, why the hell do people even like Ahsoka? The Siege of Mandalore arc suffered from contradictions that was established in the Ahsoka novel. If only Dave Filoni either read the novel or used Wookieepedia and took notes, but he doesn't seem to care about contradictions and only cares about his own work.
Also, Ahsoka taking out thugs, Mandos, and her own clones is laughably impossible, like Mary Sue level that would give Rey a run for her money. If experienced Jedi like Ki-Adi-Mundi or Aayla Secura couldn't survive Order 66 but a 17 year old Ahsoka could, we have problems. Maul could've taken her out since he was Sidious' apprentice before his defeat on Naboo. I've been hearing people saying "AhSoKa WaS tRaInEd By AnAkIn" which is not much of an excuse.

WHY the hell should she care about what the Jedi thought when she's no longer a Jedi?! Oh wait, because Filoni nixed her love interest (see what I did there?) in TCW Season 7 and wants to use her as a bridge to build the sequels, lol. Changes I would have made to TCW as a whole:
    • make Ahsoka the Padawan of Plo Koon (a universal opinion shared by a few I think)
    • not bring back Darth Maul, but still have Savage Opress as a new big bad villain to be the rival of Obi-Wan instead of Grievous
    • not have Anakin and Dooku cross blades until revenge of the Sith (plenty of other Jedi for Dooku to duel in the war); that is what Asajj is for
    • actually bring the Dark Acolytes from the comics onto the screen, which would serve as proto-Inquisitors of the Galactic Empire (maybe even have a couple serve as first generation Inquisitors when the Galactic Empire is established; Anakin goes from fighting them to being in control of them once he becomes Darth Vader). I hate that the Inquisitors are just there in the comics straight after revenge of the Sith as if they had always been around.
In my head canon Asajj Ventress is actually half Dathomirian and half Rattataki, her mother having had an affair with a Rattataki warlord while on a mission and the reason why a bounty hunter comes to Dathomir to take her back to her father in exchange for keeping the Nightsister’s honour intact. They return to Rattatak where the Hal’sted adopts her when her father and his family are killed.

I’m posting this comment before watching the whole video, so it might mention some things the video mentions.
Here we are, The Siege of Mandalore arc. It’s perhaps one of, if not, the worst retcons in disney canon. The choice to have Order 66 be initiated in the Star Destroyer was the cause of the many problems that exist with Filoni’s retcons, which include but is not limited to Ahsoka’s questionable decisions.
First off, it SIGNIFICANTLY decreases Ahsoka’s chances of making it out of Order 66 intact, let alone alive. That and no amount of retconned in training will excuse it. Training which, BTW, only serves to make me question Filoni’s writing skills. The fact Ahsoka was specifically trained for the same exact situation she found herself in was UNBELIEVABLY and impossibly convenient, it’s as convenient as Anakin being specifically trained to counter Obi-Wan’s strike that resulted in him losing the rest of his limbs, being burned alive, and as result, losing most of his potential in the force. I can forgive that if it weren’t for the stupid decision to have Order 66 happen in the Star Destroyer. Originally, in the Ahsoka Tano Novel, Order 66 happened while Ahsoka was STILL in Mandalore. She and Rex, who had already removed his INhIbiTor ChIP BEFORE the siege, managed to fake their deaths and escape. Maul also used this distraction to his advantage to escape after having been caught in a ray shield. Filoni’s retcon on the other hand, needlessly brought about extensive damage to the arc by having Ahsoka pretend to be all high and mighty when she pretends to not be the cause of the deaths of Jessie and countless other Clone Troopers. That’s despite the fact she willingly let Maul escape and cause the Star Destroyer to crash, knowing full well that he would do such a thing without restraining him in the least. That’s evident from the line: “Now go cause some chaos, it’s what you’re good at.”
Moving on, the choice to not have Rex already remove his INhIbiTor ChIP is a weird one, considering the fact he was supposedly told of their existence by Fives. That results in the scene in which Fives reportedly shares that highly-guarded secret being made completely pointless. That choice was clearly made to have Ahsoka, being the high and mighty mary sue that she was, remove the INhIbiTor ChIP for him. I remember reading a comment the other day where it talked about Ahsoka and Maul being able to put everyone else on-board the Star Destroyer into a trance of some kind, and then individually remove the INhIbiTor ChIPs of each Clone Trooper. Instead, they went with making her look high and mighty despite her questionable actions and what they entail.
Thirdly, it makes Maul look like a wimp compared to Ahsoka. Obi-Wan in his PRIME, mind you, had a hard time against Maul, but Ahsoka didn’t even struggle the least bit when it came to fighting Maul directly. She was even mocking and making fun of him by saying something along the lines of: “You’re lucky my master didn’t come, he’d have wiped the floor with you”. Now, keep in mind that Ahsoka was only a PADAWAN who wasn’t even close to being promoted to Jedi Knight and was only offered a promotion as compensation (which doesn’t make sense since Ahsoka’s actions only served to incriminate her in THAT arc). That fight would’ve and should’ve been more of a challenge for Ahsoka. Everything is yet again, written to make Ahsoka seem more prominent than she should be, which results in her unnecessarily overshadowing and outshining other characters.

I pretty much prefer the Legends-version of Order 66, cause many if not most clones knew the endgame of the Clone Wars. Clones from the 501st described their experience during the Clone Wars and Order 66 in their journals in "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" from 2005. And I think that makes it just as tragic as their Canon counterparts and that's why I pretty much enjoy it. They were always loyal to Palpatine and the republic, not the jedi, even after 3 whole years.
They knew about Order 66 all along and they went along with it, even in the prequels it is shown or at least hinted:
      - When Cody is informed of Order 66 by Darth Sidious, he says to the AT-TE to "blast him" referring to Obi-Wan scaling the cliff off to the side of the battle, that gun/AT-TE fires almost instantly after the order is given. It's already pointed in the direction of Obi-Wan and only needs to adjust slightly for elevation, it's aiming way off away from the battle, pointing at a bare cliff face only Obi-Wan is in that area. That gun was tracking Obi-Wan since he departed from Cody and his men, waiting for the signal "Blast him" which is so casually delivered by Cody.
      - When Yoda is attacked by Commander Gree and a scout trooper on Kashyyyk, Gree is off at the back and recieved a communique from Sidious and addresses him literally by his Sith name (just as Cody does), not as "Chancellor Palpatine". He then walks up to the scout trooper that stood right behind Yoda and nods at him. The scout trooper is not given a communique, he would've been overheard by Yoda if he had been given one, the scout trooper is given no order by Gree, who did receive the communique, he's just given a nod. A signal, a que. Like they were briefed beforehand and the scout trooper was standing in position, waiting for the moment to take the shot, just waiting for the nod. It is just dark if you look at it that way...
      - Same as the Jedi on the speeder bike: the two (I believe) 91st Recon troopers on bikes accompanying her, look over to each other and nod like "Yep, I got the call. Let's do it". If they were inhibitor-chips, each clone would receive the order through their helmet and just act right there and then, not pre-plan and co-ordinate and nod to each other in a scheming way.
      - And Commander Bacara and his troops approached Ki Adi Mundi on Mygeeto and prepared to fire before they all took the shot at the same time. Bacara had probably already received the order beforehand and was probably waiting for the right moment. Also, in Battlefront 2, one of the clones said in his journals "Keeping Mundi in the dark wasn't easy".
      - And Commander Bly on Felucia probably received Order 66 beforehand as well and was waiting at the right moment before he and his men shot Aayla Secura. In "Battlefront 2", one of the clones reports about her death in his journals "General Secura wanted to make point of seeing us all off personally, said we were the best damn soldiers she'd ever fought with, it was a good thing we were all wearing helmets... Because none of us could bear to look her in the eye...
And as much as I think the clones knew in the CWMMP, through the final stages of the war, the last few months. I think they knew.
A darker plot to the inhibitor-chips of the new Canon.

I was okay with Ashoka for most of the clone wars but at S7 i staght up hated her.
When Anakin sees her for the first time after she left the order, you can see this visible joy in his eyes.
And it makes sense why he would be happy, he's seeing his little sister after so long, and considering she's made some powerful enemies through out the war and now she's alone and without a light saber she's incredibly vulnerable.
So seeing her safe and sound will naturally bring Anakin joy.
And what about her? Was she relieved that despite putting his life on the line in every mission, Anakin is still alive and well?
Nope, she barely glances at him and moves on with the conversation.
If she treated Obi Wan or literally any other jedi this way it would make some level of sense, she felt betrayed by the order.
    BUT ANAKIN?!!
    She was indifferent to him.
I hated her from then on.
Then Tales of Jedi came out.
I was excited over it, i thought just like the Clone Wars explored on the clones, Tales of Jedi will explore on the Jedi, we will see more than just Anakin and ObiWan.
Then the first episode was about baby Ashoka.
    Why?
Which Ashoka fan was up at night wondering what she was like as an infant?
It adds nothing to her character or story.

Also I know Anaxes is in the Core Regions. But since this is Disney Canon, it is now retconned to be in the Outer Rim which is pretty stupid. Another nitpick is that the 91st Reconnaissance Core are completely different then what they see and I don’t think they are Mace’s clone. I know Mace Windu has the 187th Legion as his clone region in the Old EU.

And Filoni groupies put too much stock in George Lucas for this, ironically by trying to point fingers everywhere but in their own house. Example. They insist George hated Mara Jade, but let's not IGNORE the fact that he STILL allowed her to exist, and stories to be made about her. Ditto, George HATED the idea of dark-side spirits - FILONI'S WORDS, not his, and yet, by that metric (which is what most of these are, secondhand accounts), he still allowed Filoni to do it, didn't he? Kinda puts TCW in a whole new context a whole cult of brainwashed fanboys are NOT willing to honestly examine.

But still kinda shitty for Disney to pat themselves on the back for a show they themselves cancelled. Hell, they knew people liked this show, so why only bring it back for one season?
Also, part of me kind of wishes that the Disney buyout happened just a bit later because the Yuuzhan Vong were planned to make a small appearance to connect it with the expanded universe. Maul is also LITERALLY half the Sith he used to be. The entirety of his lower half is mechanical, which means he's not as agile as he used to be, and that's half of his Midichlorians gone, and half of his body that the force cannot work its way through. It's also pretty amazing he's able to fight as good as he does considering all that, and from the end of the Phantom Menace to his fight with Kenobi after all those years, he never fought. He never fought, he never trained, he just wasted like 10 years being a crazy spider person. I think I understand now. Your problem with The Bad Batch wasn’t that it was a bad sequel to The Clone Wars. You thought it was, but that was only because at the time, while your opinion on it was waning, you thought you liked The Clone Wars. I was confused how you would like The Clone Wars and not The Bad Batch since they have all of the same strengths and weaknesses of each other, but now I think I get it. Your problem wasn’t that it was a “bad” continuation of The Clone Wars, but that it was a continuation of The Clone Wars at all. You just thought you still liked The Clone Wars and had no such feelings towards the at the time brand new Bad Batch, but now that those feelings are gone, now you see them as equally bad.

Calling something a hot take is getting cliche, but your take on TCW is so hot Vader's getting flashbacks to Mustafar right now

Hey JJ this isn't to with season 7 review but I can be like you sometimes rip into stuff hard now ever heard of killing bites it's manga/anime series basic premise a world were people get abilities from animals and fight in a torment why I hate it because it wants to be fun action mortal kombat...ish gore fest but I know was made for the kemonomimi waifu lovers(kemonomimis are human characters that have animal ears and tails sometimes behave like the animal they are like popular cats girls there are not japanese furries keep that in mind)big tits thicc thighs thicc boots and lollies I think I don't actually mind fan serves but this why I like berserk and others better cuz it uses nudity and shock value properly recommended the manga cuz there's no wear else to stream the anime at the least opening is banger for me you have make a video on it if you want to but I want to know I'm harsh critic like you
