BEST DIY Tik Tok Spotify / Apple music Song Plaque || NO CRICUT || No Drawing

Hey Butterflies!
Welcome or welcome back to my channel. Today I am trying something different here and diving into DIYs. Here I make the super viral tik tok song plaque. I do not use any machine, circuit or not, to put this together! I didn't have a circuit but knew this would be the perfect gift for someone and wanted to give it a try anyway. Also, this tutorial will NOT have you drawing the whole thing by hand lol!
Things I learned from this:
1. This method will give you bubbles, making it not 100% clear but it's a DIY, and our first one, cut me some slack. I thought about using heat transfers or water decals instead. I'll maybe try that out and make an update. You can also try doing this with a design background instead of a clear background to hide any imperfections.
2. For the best look you HAVE to print the album cover art separately. Just so you can get that full on color!
3. I printed multiple labels while I was at fedex just in case when I got home I messed up. Which I did.... a few times lol! That's why it is better to just put the label first and THEN the cover art.
4. With the png I used for spotify and apple music it only comes in black. I'm sure there is a way to make it white but I didn't take the time to figure it out.
5. If you want the song to play from youtube or from apple music you will need a QR code generator and just add it to your song plaque.

Materials
2 8x11 Dollar Tree Frames (I showed an 8x10 in the video, I was comparing the sizes, do NOT buy 8x10 unless you have an 8x10 label)
Glass Glue (from home depot, you can get this virtually anywhere)

(These labels have their own template software but it's crappy. Pro though is the ink on these labels dry SUPER fast. Like pretty much instantly.)

Hey beautiful butterflies, I see a lot of people seem confused on the how the paper is '"clear"
1. I used 8.5x11 Clear Labels I purchased from Amazon.
2. I did not get them from Fedex, I brought them TO Fedex and put it in the printer like regular paper and printed my design.
3. It is the second item I list in the very beginning of the video after glass glue. Please don't skip over the video and watch it in its entirety.

As a graphic designer, my eyes were bleeding by seeing you stretching the picture without using the shift command. It makes the image proportional when making it bigger/smaller.
Advice : if you save it in svg it will be a vector image and all this work can be done in literally 20 minutes in illustrator, rather than saving png.
Hey! So for the Spotify code saving as an SVG didn’t work for the Avery template which is why I had to manually remove the background. And I got the spotify media player template from a website already as a png.
Additionally with Avery design template any image you stretch it’ll let you know when you’ve gone too far.

I just wanted to lyk this is the BEST tutorial. Don’t let anyone get to you. All the other tutorials leave a border from the stickers around the words or isn’t a clear photo or you have to have the cricut. Great job!!

Very good tutorial, a little fast but that's what pausing and going back is for. I have seen this done for youtube scan bar and I've seen some people do the Spotify bar but the one I watched didn't say delete what's in there and paste your copied one. It probably is self explanatory but I didn't catch it until you just said that. I have done only one and love it it plays it from UA-cam now I'm going to do one foe Spotify too. Thank you so much!

I did figure out a way to pull the song title and such straight from Spotify and invert the color to black! This worked super well and you don't have to go through trying to match fonts! But this tutorial rocked!!

Someone asked me to do this for them. I have no idea. But I'm going to learn. This video seems like the most legit one. How do we take a photo and make it the correct size for the plaque?
When I was putting my label together I just estimated there are no actual numbers. If you want yours big you can if you want it smaller, just keep resizing it until you feel like it looks how you want

Great tutorial, Love it. But I have a question, if I want to print it in white. How I do it? And if still going to appear on the clear labels??
So I would recommend something like inverting. If you look up “invert my picture” you should be able to take either the Apple or Spotify png and change it to white.
As for printing, so you’ll need “white ink” in order to print white. You can either get some for your own printer or find a printing facility that allows you to print white. If you do then yes it’ll show up on the clear label
the only thing i can’t figure is where the spotify play button link is bc i see the apple music one

Shareka Jones there should be a link it’s just not colored as a normal link should be so i selected all of the link and right clicked which left me an option to look up and i pressed that and it showed up

Hey in the beginning of the video I showed the clear labels I used, they’re also linked in the description where I bought them from on amazon. FedEx doesn’t have clear labels they just have the best place for printing in my opinion

What’s all the materials I would need
the png for apple music on the blog does not work?
I was trying to create something "different" for a 16th birthday...making personalized potato chip bags, but wanted to add a song using this method. I didn't need to convert pdf to jpg. i just needed the code, spotify bar code and picture and took it from there...it came out AWESOME!!!! this is SOOOO cool. I have saved your video though because I plan on doing plaques and will need it in its entirety. Thanks for posting this...each step was "spot" on :-)...did I mention i was 60, and able to follow along :-).
I do have a question, after I scanned the spotify and the song played...another song followed...when I went to rescan the song i downloaded again, the other song kept playing. Is there a way to prevent that? So that only the song I downloaded will play (and if necessary, replay)? Thank you
I’m so glad you were able to do this! I should’ve mentioned in the video the pdf thing was because my Mac wouldn’t let me invert it.
I think with Spotify the way their system is set up is every song has a song that will play afterwards so I don’t think it is possible to just have the one song.

What do we do if we get a 8x10? Do we still do it to full capacity?
If you have 8x10 labels then I would just say be mindful because that Avery template is 8x11. You can also do it, print it on regular paper and put the clear glass on top so you can see what you might need to fix
So I would like to have the clear label printed at FedEx, but would it be under decal printing? Because I can't find a specific category for the clear label printing

If you save the template on Avery in a free account you should be able to do it. I would just copy my original template and replace the words and image

What kinds of printer did u use?
In the video I said I went to FedEx they use laser jet printers. However you can buy labels for a regular at home inkjet printer

You could invert the colors of the spotify play button. But with this tutorial the only way you could get it to print out as white is to find a company that prints white ink. Apparently white ink is not common

Yes you can but it won’t print. Printing white ink is a special feature most regular printing companies don’t provide

Yes it does! But there is a laserjet type and inkjet type just make sure you check which printer you have or plan on using and buy the appropriate sheet
Can anyone confirm one thing. The clear label sheet isn't completely transparent right? It's somewhat translucent no? Cz I can't find completely transparent sheet
