    you just gave 220volt ac at the gate of triac to trigger the triac
    my question is how much time the 220 volt ac supply take the gate pin?

    using the triac the contacts of the ignition keys of lights, motors, etc are not damaged ... very good video .....

    How does the gate only handle few milliamps if you’re touching a 12amp line with it?

    Good morning bhayya.
    When we connect this triac to a ceiling fan, does it need heat sink.? Please reply.

    • @BRICSWORLD
      @BRICSWORLD  3 роки тому

      you always need to use a heatsink with BT136

    As you see, You are Connected the Gate Terminal Directly ( Without any Resistor ) with the T1 ( Terminal One ) which have Heigh Voltage ( 220,V ) . So Why the Gate Terminal Not Damage Due to you say,s Earlier that The Gate Terminal should be operated with 01..01.5-V . So what is the logic with them sir .

    • @SANDEEPKUMAR-ik6si

      😂😂 Right Observation, TRAC damage ho jayega, You can't connect directly T2 with Gate, you should use Resistor

    Hi friend
    How to add triac to led driver?

    • @BRICSWORLD
      @BRICSWORLD  4 роки тому

      connect LED driver(AC) in place of bulb

  • @kalyan4565
    @kalyan4565 4 роки тому +1

    MY BT 136 Sparked and blasted with high sound, when one wire of AC input given directly on gate. You are using DC power source and DC bulb but not clear the viewers, your power supply (DC) is hidden, you cannot given AC directly on gate without resistance of 100k or above for limiting the current and volt to the gate.

      Spot on , bro! There should be adequate warning upfront in the video, on possible dangerous shock, if not done properly.👽 This is not for beginners.
      Ideally, the bulb ( type, wattage should be mentioned) should be shown mounted on a holder , and 'wire touching' could be via a push switch .
