From personal experience:
1 No need to buy the toy sword if you already have the wooden one
2 I think the Christmas future egg only spawns at the level with the shelves
3 If you have 100% health you don't have to sleep on one of the beds you build, cause thay are only 4 and they fill your health bar a little
4 Don't sleep on the bed with yellow spots at the start (that's where the chandelier falls) and make sure you are near the ladder
5 Save some food even apples might really help you later
6 The first cookies are fine, the second are poison
7 Ham is 2 times more expensive than apples, but also 3 times more effective so if you have the chance, buy more ham

You SHOULD buy the toy sword even if you have the wooden sword because the toy sword does more damage and plus you don't really have a choice to not get a wooden sword its chance unless you didn't open all of the cabinets and closets in the game
