After about a mile of city driving I was hooked on single-pedal driving in my 2021 Model 3LR. My experience with the Autopilot 2-7 following distance is that it is very inconsistent and difficult to find a good setting. The car also has a tendency to lose its focus and will eventually start falling farther and farther back from where you thought it was going to stay.
It’s interesting. I’m trying a Model X 90D right now. With the sensors in front it’s definitely doing a better job. The 2-7 following distance works really well.
