- Mr. Yoshida's sauce have been very successful in the US and around the world, but he has had a very eventful life, nearly going bankrupt four times. We have read his books many times, especially during the development of UMAMI SAUCE. This time we visited and stayed at his house in the US and Mr. Yoshida taught us a lot about life and business. I agree with mr Yoshida , a book about Moe's life story would be sensational even outside kimonoko community, i can picture Moe getting interviews and growing customers all around the world ! She is so inspiring.
Reading about Moe's life would certainly help to understand what kind of person she is today and how she became that.
(I'm sure there are many people out there for whom Moe is a role model).
A book like this would also be interesting for people outside the kimonoko community, as it would provide insights into Japanese traditions and other areas that are rarely or never talked about.
I would be incredibly interested to read that book!

Yoshida-san is absolutely right about writing a book! The experience of the maiko/geisha is so romanticized, especially in the US. It is very important that people understand what the real experience is like.
