I think there's a notched channel in the table edges that you route the suspension cables through when you fold the table up. That prevents the cable from fouling up when you fold it.
Good job! I have been looking at DIY tailgate tables for a couple of months and I have considered using Rivnuts for mounting. I like how the table looks like a Jeep grill in its up position 🤙🏽
Yea says to use the hardware but mine didn’t come with one so I used a tool I had otherwise I would of used the tool it came with for the video of it had one but mine didn’t have one in the bag with the hardware.

It says to use the hardware to install the rivets. I was looking for the tool in my box but its the bolt.
