I’m 41 and have been wearing barefoot shoes for the past 2 years and not looking back. I work 12 hour shifts on my feet and still can’t believe how pain free I feel walking out of work versus my old work boots.
Thank you! I agree there are a lot of minimalist shoes that don’t look so great. I like the Xero’s, and they have some other styles I’d like to try out.

It's fantastic to hear about your positive experience with barefoot shoes, especially considering your long shifts on your feet!
I am wearing Hykes Pinnacle and love them, best shoes I have ever owned. I will never go back to regular restricted shoes.
That's awesome! I haven't tried Hykes yet, but I'll have to check them out!
Anyone with plantar fasciitis make the switch to barefoot? If so, is it recommended?

Thanks for your wisdom! The thing I haven’t liked about minimalist shoes in the past is they are so ugly. These actually look cool though!!

They are not ugly, its the "normal" shoes that are weird and badly designed
