Finals in one hour. Good luck fellow finalists.
about to start! Good luck!
i still have 6 hours, life has not ended
wangchul I wish you luck, I got a C as my Final Course grade. Thanks Patrick!
finals in 2 hours from now 😥
Less than 2 hours
nearly 10 years later, this guy's videos are still helping thousands of students!
12 years lol :)
@@iambrio 13!!
13 years lol
14 years lol😅
I WILL WATCH EVERY LAST VIDEO ON YOUR CHANNEL AND PASS CALC 3
Yiwei Zhang we're all thinking the same thing don't worry
+Yiwei Zhang HOORAH.
I hope you did well! 😂
not very helpful, it's extremely helpful
Lol, I'm getting all those "are those math videos from 2006 really helping? (Give us money)".
Well this is PatrickJMT so yes the videos are helping...
I'm currently in class while the teacher is teaching green theorem, and watching you teach it. Not only did my teacher misspell 'theorem' with two m's and no e's, he's only ever said about 3 sentences the entire class and mumbles to himself, Amazing videos man. Your really helping an massive amount of people.
Patrickjmt, you're the real MVP
Shout out to finals am i rite?
LMAO. Shoutout to the crappy calc teachers that just follow a confusing powerpoint and seem like they don't know what they are talking about oo
Yuuuup, just for fall 2017. @_@
MarkS yes u are rite
Sad face. Tomorrow is going to suck
Thank's
my pleasure, glad you like the videos
Hey Mr. Patrick. Thank you for the assistance through out the semester. Completed my last problem paper for the semester, on Green's theorem. Now it's time to prepare for finals in about 2 weeks.
Thanks again.
One Love.
Thanks so much for all your videos! You're making my life so much easier. It's really hard to understand college math professors sometimes, so it's awesome to have this as an additional resource.
Whoever says Calc 3 is easier than Calc 2 is a filthy, filthy, filthy, filthy liar!
+Zen Jon i killed the midterm and thought the final would be easy to study for... three days of studying and my finals tomorrow. i feel like im gunna fail smh
+Zen Jon You sir are the first person to ever utter those words
+Zen Jon
98% in calc 3
94% in calc 2
QED
Where are you studying clac 3? Which year? What are you studying plz tell
MSU Denver
Thanks! Can you please make more Calc 3 videos? I'm finding it very hard without your guidance on some of these concepts.
oh... there is sooooooooooo much left.
i have about 500, off the top of my head, that i would like to do.
more stats, linear algebra, differential equations, rest of multivariable calculus, more discrete math, more geometry....
lots to go
I feel so relieved for someone telling me and me understanding what that circle on integral sign is. Thank you
I've been watching your videos for a few years now and I dunno if you'll ever see this but you've had a significant positive impact on my life ❤️🌸✨
Patrick, your videos help me so much!! Thank you so much! I was wondering if you could do a video on stoke's theorem and on the divergens theorem? :)
OMG YES PLEASE!
I'm so thankful for your videos cause I've gotten an A in every math class cause of your clear explanations
You're the best Patrick! I'm in Calculus three and have my final tomorrow! You have helped me through all of Calculus. I will be donating in the near future!
Did you do it 🤨
omgg u explain sooo much better than my professor and calculus 3 book. waaah i wish u were my teacher T_T
How to understand Green's theorem in just 6 minutes. Man, you ' re incredible.
I am such a fan of your videos. Please be like a constant and never change
Thank you so much for these videos!! This is way more helpful than the textbooks which confused me even more. :)
Thanks Patrick! You saved me once on Calculus I and now you're saving me again on Calculus II. Regards from Brazil.
You're doing Green's theorem in Calc II??
Unfortunately I am.
Green's theorem in Calc II? thats a disaster
Yeap, agree.
before going class that will include greents thm, it helps too much. thank you sir!
Nice, we just tested on a bit of Green's Theorem just tonight. Some geometry stuff in the future would be pretty sweet! You rock man!
Easily one of the greatest teachers I have ever experienced!
You are the only reason I pass classes. Thank you.
I built my concepts through these videos... You are a great teacher....
You are awesome man. I was a little nervous for my exam and feeling blue. But now you showed me how to do the green so its chill
this is amazingly easy to understand. i mean i couldn't understand anything in actual class.
thank you Patrick, you make the world a better place
Thank you sir, this is the best place for quick revision before test.
Patrick! u always gud in examples! thanks once again!
Ah yes, finals in 3 hours, I don't know what Greens theorem is.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
This is a great supplement to my vector calculus class.
Patrick you're getting me through college. my sincere loves for you.
This completely just saved my butt on my calc test tomorrrow. Better believe I'm watching these for the final!!
You sir are the robin hood of Math. The professors are just taking my money but you sir, you sire return with 2x the amount of gold taken!
Very simple but good enough to refresh the knowledge
Is there a formula to help determine the limits instead of graphing?
Thank you for teaching us brother
... right before my exam, just when i need it!!! thanks patrick
yeah patrick please do videos on stokes theorem and the divergence theorem
This is the third time I take Calculus III and with your help, I am pretty sure I'm gonna make it this time!! Thanks man!!
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart Patrick. God Bless you.
Thanks.
I know this video is like 2009 and we're in 2017 but it is sooooo helpful. but can you make a quick video on STOKE's theorem and divergence theorem before next week? PLEAAAASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I can't watch any other youtube math video cos they just talk waaayyyyyy too much and I don't have the patience for all of that. You're the best Patrick!
Yeah Patrick, Krista King and sometimes Salman are the best.
yeah I guess but their videos are like 15mins long.
It's 2019 now & they still rock
Im in 2020...QUARANTINE BATCH😂
Patrick, thank you for all your videos, they are excellent. It would be great if you could do a couple on Stokes theorems (if you have some, I can't find them). Thank you! My greatest appreciation
I use the circle on the integral symbol and the C under it to indicate a line integral around a closed curve. I also add a little arrow in to remind me of the direction. I'm not sure if it is a standard notation or not, but it helps me.
sigh... if only you were my teacher. Genius is making the complicated simple, my friend you are a genius.
Thank god your channel exists...
OMF Patrick your vids are so helpful for Calc 3 finals!
LOL, I just love how my final is tomorrow. UH!
Please enlighten us further with Stoke's theorem, line integrals, conservative fields, and divergence theorem.
D:
-Thanks!
man this one's really helpful.. thanks for uploading (:
Purely as a matter of interest, I live less than a quarter of a mile from Green's Mill in Sneinton, Nottingham (I can see t from my garden) Richard Green inherited the mill from his father and worked the mill full time. During whatever sparetime he could find he produced his famous theorems. He is buried in St Stephens, the local church.Greens Mill was renovated into a working windmill and interactive science centre by Nottingham University and actually grinds wheat which you can buy.
just came back from an exam. i think i aced it, thanks to you Patrick, (all the way from South Africa)
I cant say this enough but you are awesome. Thanks for making these videos.
@321boileranimal hahahah, sorry, no stokes atm!
Patrick The GREAT ,
Please upload some videos about stokes theorem too , and graphing equation in 3D, like cylinders, spheres and cons , lots of THANKS♥
Thank you for this. I'll understand eventually, but this is a good start.
yea, this stuff is tricky
more discrete, induction, throw in some complex analysis and holy crap, you always post videos on stuff i need the day after my exams. thanks any way cheers.
thanks, I have tried to follow all the steps and I did understand everything at all.
Thanks a lot... Am now able to do my assignment on Green's theorem😁
Great explanation. Very Helpful.
2021 and still helpful , thankss
Both of your videos (this along with the potential function) were great. Sorry for the generic comment but there's really not much else to say besides thank you.
I thought your channel was patrickMIT for years lol it's y i always watched ur vids first
there are teachers who knows the material so well but does not know how to explain at all...Patrick you are a true example of the definition Excellence....thank you...can you put more videos on triple integrals...i cant visualize images in 3D and finding those region of integrations are tedious and hard as....
In a calc 2 class and we are going over this, our professor is good but I just can't seem to remember double integrals and green's theorem because I took poor notes when we went over both. this is really helpful, thanks
finals here we go
Please do an example of Stoke's Theorem! Your videos are super helpful and finals are coming up!
this is 40% my final...you're a god send.
correction: "this notation with the circle on the integral" Means that its a "closed loop" integral it dosent say anything about its direction clockwise or other.. unless you put a lil arrow on that circle stating its clockwise or other.
@patrickJMT
i would loooveee it if you could do some differential equation videos, i have a whole semester on them coming up.
patrickJMT is a real G.
brilliantly explained sir :)
hey patrick you are a great teacher for me thanks a lot. i was wondering if you have any videos with the following titles:
TRIPLE INTEGRALS IN CYLINDRICAL COORDINATES
THE FUNDAMENTAL THEOREM FOR LINE INTEGRALS
PARAMETRIC SURFACES AND THEIR ARES
i've been looking in your website but i have not found them, i've tired to look for other teachers like you on youtube but they are not as good as you.
This is great.
Crystal clear.
Does not x vary from 1 to 0 instead of 0 to 1?
Thank you Patrick!
I swear, when I graduate and get a job, I'm going to donate $500 to your website because you helped me through all my math classes. Seriously, I would have failed without you!
Have you donated yet? You swore you would…
Where's your donation pakman
you are indeed a great teacher.
thnx patric this video is very helpful
went to lectures about this, dissected the textbook, didnt get it. watched this video, and thought THATS IT?!?!?! thanks for making it simple! please bend your index finger when u write though
you need to post one on stokes theorem, this is great ....
Thank you, you saved my day!
Does anyone know if he has a video for stokes theorem
Can I utilize greens theorem to find the area of a country, or is there another method that is better? (I want to be able to calculate by hand)
@patrickJMT did you make them already? because I haven't been able to find any videos about Stokes' theorem
You should make that other Green's video. It would really really help!
I hope you do a video on Stoke's theorem and divergence theorem.
wow patrickJMT you really saved my ass on this one... the only bad part about your videos is im starting to not go to class!
yes yes yes...oh man i love this guy..
some of his lessons are better than my actual teacher..and my teacher a natiaonal award winning teacher...LOL
I legit love you
@patrickJMT well good luck with that cus were liking the videos !
I also think It'd be a good idea to add a Stoke's theorem vid, since at my calc 3 class in college they're basically taught together. Thanks for the great video though!
You are the man. Thanks!!!
May I ask, does green theorem can also be applied to calculate area of hexagon?
you are my hero!!....
thanks a lot
Thanks for this 😌
Can you please make more examples?
In the video, you said you will post more video on green's theorem?
