Hi again, hope you had a great Easter, I have been loving the drives through the other countries but am delighted to see you back driving through Norway, next to the drives you did in Iceland, Norway is by far the most scenic place to visit, looking forward to watching more of this amazing country, Happy Aussie.
Thank you! This was my third road trip in Norway, and yes the Norwegian fjords and nature are in a league of their own when it comes to scenery! I have a few more good weather footage from this trip, the second half sadly was driving in a lot of bad weather but will post it all as well.
I was a bit shocked by the way your car approached and drove through the flock of sheep’s at point 38:56 at constant cruising speed without any slowing down, while clearly one of the sheep had been killed by another passing car and the rest of the flock kept guarded the victim closely (sitting partly on the road)!
Hey yes, I definitely should have slowed down there, but I noticed them really late I first saw the man standing with his back to me there and making sure he was not crossing when I came over the hill, and then the sheep. Instead of slamming the brakes, I saw that I could pass between them safely, so I decided to do that. And I looked at the video frame by frame, it does not seem there is a killed sheep in between. 1 is relaxing/sleeping? From my perspective/experience with sheep on the road seems to be nothing physically wrong with it. I could be wrong however, not a sheep expert.
The sheep longside this Norwegian roads are so familiar with the traffic and relaxed so it's very seldom you see them move at all. But of course low speed is a must any way..
