Hungarian is mutch smoother, melodical language (even if im writing Under an english cover of that song) than any slavic language (not including slovakian, which is very melodical top) which are rough to listen for foreigners. That is the reason why hungarian in socialismu were so succesfull abroad.
А в те времена она была вообще прорывом. Ведь практически никто в СССР не знал прогрессивистов тех времён King Crimson,ELP и прочих.А на музыке венгров(Локомотив,Омега,Хунгария) их влияние явно сказывалось. У них,видимо гораздо проще было. Вообще тогдашние венгры вполне прилично играли,по тем временам.Hungaria послушайте.Жаль недолго просуществовала

В сентябре 2016 Габор Прессер об'явил о роспуске LGT. В Венгрии замечательная музыка во всех жанрах : народная, классическая, рок, поп, да и не только музыка! Жаль, что в современной России на теле-радио каналах о Венгрии, её культуре ничего не передают. Я после смерти барабанщика Йожефа Лаукса (ex Omega) 5 августа 2016 отправил соболезнования на сайт группы Omega по поводу их смерти. Глубоко сожелею о Шомлу и Лауксе!
"Lady of the night" would have a different connotation in English, It actually means prostitute. Someone told me the exact translation is "Dream-Faced Girl". Hungarian and English are so different!

Ez a csodás szövegű magyar dal nem jól szól angolul, pedig a rock zene az bizony angol, de ahogy valakivel vitatkozva már egyszer leírtam: vannak kivételek és ezek egyike ez a szám ami csak magyarul szól jól. (azt persze nem tudhatjuk, hogy ha egy angol banda játszotta volna, akkor milyen lenne?)
Ugyebár hárman éneklik egymást váltogatva: Somló Tamás, Presser Gábor és Karácsony János. (Mondjon még egy együttest valaki, ahol három zenész szóló énekes is egyben!) 1980-ban megjelent angol nyelvű lemezükön, aminek hatására az itteni kommentek alapján még Oroszországban is lettek rajongóik. Persze hogy magyar fülnek az eredeti magyar nyelvű változat után ez fura. Best hungarian band forever and ever

They had to use lady of the night for the lines to rhyme. It is easier to sing. Dream-faced girl is simply not suitable for that.

Nekem is megvan az angol verziója az álomarcú lánynak az Lgt-től, de az sokkal jobban szól mint ez. Nem értem, h mitől lett ez ilyen gyenge.
