the Dodgers are so lucky to have Freeman. what a class act and truly engaging. I appreciate his realness instead of some of the other robotic players in interviews.

Most Dodgers fans don't have an emotional attachment to Seager. He didn't play much because of his injuries, but can't ignore his contributions in 2020.
Freddie coming to the Dodgers was really awesome. But you can tell how bummed out he still is that he isn't a Brave anymore. Braves goofed on that, but real happy that he's a Dodger now.
Freddie is a Brave for life just like KJ is a Dodger for life. When the Bravos picked up Joc last year my thoughts were “Why are we acquiring this has-been Dodger” but that Dodger came up huge for us. This Bravo will help the Dodgers kill it in the West.

the agent goofed on that. braves wouldn't budge on the $$$, so they made a move for one of the best 1B in the game for cheaper, and freddie's price crashed. both teams came out better in the end, but it's a real damn shame the longtime hero isn't still on the braves.
Now in retrospect, we know the deal. Wasn't the Braves who cheated Freddie.

@@Enforcer93 I mean no not really when you actually look at his career #’s. All star games and Ring’s don’t really matter. Career .892 OPS, less than 2,000 hits, only 43.1 career war. Hardly a Hall of Famer at age 32 and he’s not likely to keep elite pace for a long time, only another year maybe 2

Freddie is gonna do good for LA, and most Braves fans will love him no matter what off the field. i know i do. during the game though, i’m Braves fan before anything else, he’s the enemy then.

Watching this pregame interview this evening, it's clear as crystal to any sane person......he did not want to leave.....once it was happening he had to buck up and say all the right things for his new employer...but...it broke his heart...you can see it....and hear it...
So Freddie moved back to CA right after the end od the 2021 season? No wonder ATL didn't try to hard to resign ... they knew he was a lost cause. I wonder if he will have any regrets about the change in a few years. As a Braves fan, I was sad to see him leave, but very happy to have Matt Olsen replace him.
