The clip of Faith just reminded me of something. In school I had to wear a school uniform, and I constantly tried to make it girly but it was just so hard to do that because most of the other girls didn't want to do that so I basically had to ask the vice principal if I could wear something every single time I tried to wear something new (be it a scarf, necklace, belt, shoes, etc.). So one year I just said f*ck it and decided to do the normal stuff of wearing jean-jackets and keds. It was then that I got more attention from guys my age. Now it could've been a coincidence, but in my limited experience when I dress more tomboy-like, I get much more attention from guys than when I dress in my usual feminine style. I would never change my style for that, but I think lots of people (both men and women) assume that women that dress in pearls and dresses get more guys hitting on them, but as someone that dresses like that I will say I've had the opposite experience. For a reference from TV shows, when I dress like Buffy I don't get many guys hitting on me. When I dress like Faith (in terms of color scheme and general style, not how much skin I show) I get lots of attention from guys. Like I said, it could be a coincidence, but this video just made me think of that and I thought I'd share it.
