I live in Michigan. South east. Me my brother and close friend seen one in Manistee at around 3 am in the morning coming back from salmon fishing. They live here. I believe that some are man eaters and that’s why some people go missing while in the woods. Just my opinion

My friend and I were growled at by what sounded like giant monsters on separate forks of a logging road we were walking down to dove hunt in 1980. I literally felt the sound vibrate my chest and face. I ran in a panic about 100 yards back to the truck and Jeffrey was already in it with the doors locked. I know the animals that live here. This wasn`t any of those. The closest way I can describe it is the very deep growl of a lion amplified through large speakers loud enough to feel the vibrations.
It happened in LaSalle Parish in central Louisiana on Bodcaw Road near or in the Belah community. There have been multiple sightings in the region but these stories are much more difficult to find than they were 20 years ago for some reason. The Alexandria Daily Town Talk newspaper had some great articles and pictures of tracks a few times. My sister also saw one in Aimwell on a pipeline with a group of her friends.

Tried mapping church st in Weston, and found some rr tracks, but not abandoned, and no bridge. I’d love to go to the area and check it out since I live nearby
