My 1 year old has been on 2 international flights, one being 9 hours. The iPad saved us! One tip I heard that I didn’t use because I didn’t hear til after, is wrapping small presents like crayons or dollar store toys and letting them open like every half hour. So they have new things to play with and something to look forward to. Good luck!! I’ve found people to be very friendly and helpful towards little ones on flights.

We have flown 3 times with our 1 1/2 year old starting at 9 months. I watched every vlog and prepped as much as I could. The most recent flight my iPad wouldn’t load and he cried for 3 hours because he couldn’t walk around. And I’m talking throw up crying lol. It was a full flight so he was so preoccupied with everyone that he wouldn’t sleep. Our modo is, hope for the best expect the worst. You never what they are going to do. Good luck

Amia and Ania beauty omg stop it. he’s not left out. if you mean that he doesn’t get that much attention in the vlogs is because he’s literally like 4 months old!!! he can’t play with the boys. but he’s not left out. look at keren’s instagram feed, she has so many cute pictures with sutton ONLY. and you only see like 15 minutes of their life, a day. so don’t say that sutton is left out. and also maybe they don’t wanna tell everyone who the godparents are or maybe they haven’t decided yet.

I really do hope all the comments about Jackson being the favourite child isn’t true because it’ll really affect the younger ones when they’re older. I know how it feels because in my house my brother is treated like a king, I did confront my mom but of course she brushes it off. It got so bad to the point I was questioning myself if I was really her child. My relationship with my mom has completely turned cold to the point it gets so awkward being alone in a room with her that I have to leave the room. Up until 2-3 years ago I used to hug her whenever I got the chance and casually said “I love you” randomly throughout the day and now I can’t even start a conversation with her or even look her in the eyes. I do try to fix our relationship but every time I do I feel like my mom pushes me away. I promised myself that if I were to have kids I would never let them feel like I love one more than the other.
crystal you don’t know how much I get you, I’m 21 and mom used to favor my brother a lot, she denies it of course but it’s something everyone sees but her. I’ve been to many psychologists about it and even though my relationship with my mom is good now, I can’t be in the same room with my mom and my brother, it just hurts too much even though that was more than 10 years ago. People saying that Landon and Sutton won’t remember, have zero clues, they will and I hope and pray with all of my heart that it won’t affect them like it did with you and me

I’ve traveled alone with my newly potty trained 2 year old at 35 weeks pregnant from Japan to Cali (37hrs + 13hr layover ) and then again with a 3nager and newborn alone from japan to Cali and vise versa , it’s definitely doable with both 😝

Tiffaney Ford that’s because you can handle anything! I’ve traveled pregnant with twins!! It’s doable. I’ve also traveled with twins about Jackson and Landon’s age with a newborn to Korea. It’s funny that 5 hours trips them up. That’s a piece of cake!

Five hours is a piece of cake.... movies and new toys that he has to earn by having good behavior on the plane... my daughter’s first plane ride was to Vietnam to meet my wife’s family and my maternal side... 28 hr flight landing at midnight VN time and 12pm eastern time

It definitely is doable ! I’ve done it alone with 2 from japan to Cali 🤷🏽♀️ ( 37 hours + 13 hour layover ) , if they do a red eye all kids would be asleep and no issues what’s so ever , that’s about 3 movies to watch if they were awake , they’d be fine. Plus they’d get a whole row to them selves !

I wish I had people in my life I could always leave my kids with lol my husbands a fireman and gone for days at a time. If there’s big fires he’s gone for weeks. Guess who takes care of the kids BY MYSELF the entire time?! Me! Lol We’ve done 18 hour road trips with both kids. I guess that’s real life compared to youtube life haha and no I’m NOT hating! It’s just different.
Sam Cten I had to comment on this because I agree. Not hating, but just saying it must be nice to have someone to always take care of your kids. Hubby and i dont even do date nights Bc we don’t have a babysitter. Which is fine Bc I didn’t have kids for other people to take care of but seeing people have so much help is just crazy to me and I think it’s taken advantage of too. I can’t even get a babysitter for me to go to the doctor when I’m really sick. 🤷🏻♀️
It has nothing to do with being UA-cam family it has to do with the fact they have a large family and friend base, it takes a village to raise a child and they certainly have one it’s not fair for you to judge them because your village isn’t as big as theirs.

@@missdamzlroost her husband has a job in addition to UA-cam and regardless of that there are plenty of stay-at-home parents, plenty of families in tech or in any other career that is not a traditional 9 to 5 where both parents can stay home a large percentage of the time. just because it's not the same as your family or your sense of what a traditional working family is does not make it invalid or relegated to just a "youtube family". Not every family operates in the same way.

It’s still normal life compared to youtube life where a family member is not required to leave the home. Khoa and keen have the luxury of staying home full time. Yes that’s a luxury. Yes khoa does real estate but honestly he doesn’t have to because they are successful doing UA-cam. NO WHERE DID I SAY THIS WAS WRONG. It’s just different from regular people’s lives. The majority of people don’t have those kinds of situations. Once again this is not hating or judging lol it’s just a different situation

If at least one of the parents was staying behind it would seem bearable. But the whole family is going except him. So he'd feel upset even if he's left with nonnie or taylor, because he is still young and needs at least one parent.

We are a military family and when you said 5 hours on a plane was long I laughed. We have 3 kids and we’ve traveled out of the country several time with ALL 3 of our kids. And we travel with all 3 kids for family vacations just because it’s fair. We have twins sons and a little girl. We wouldn’t dare travel without them. No matter what! Poor Landon and Sutton. And I get it. It’s your life, your kids, but I wish you wouldn’t have mentioned that the other two BEAUTIFUL babies weren’t coming. It’s heartbreaking.

Being a child of immigrants, international flights was a common occurrence growing up (20h +). Colouring books, reading books, and movies save the day! Bring stuff that will stimulate him as well as entertain!

Children don’t even form long term memories until age 3-4. Landon and Sutton will be fine. It’s not like they’re being left alone. This isn’t going to take a toll on either of them. And it’s not like they’re leaving them for a long period of time.
A good way to keep a toddler busy on the plane is go to the dollar store and buy some really cheap toys, wrap them up and then every hour/half hour if he is good let him open one up. Works like a charm!
