Dear sandi,i found your channel at the beginning of December, I've watched all your videos so i could get caught up on your journey. I have cracked up ,cryed ,and worried. But mostly i was left with a smile. I wish you all the best for the new year.you and your family are awesome. Much love from CALIFORNIA, i also suffer from depression.
Ann Marie Covert FAM .....I think Sandi is just a special person to all of us. I find myself waiting for her to smile when she sees new lambs or saves one or just watches them. I watch her deal with the roof rain under the new roof and the sight of the light shining up through the new roof the first night it was up will always be in my heart. This really is a unique and special channel.
I dont usually go out of my way to post messages on UA-cam BUT I wanted to take the time to congratulate you on how bad ass you are. TRULY.. love watching your vlogs. I'm a single mom of three in the middle of a suburban neighborhood.. have nothing to do with farming but enjoy learning about it and watching you with your lamb's is awesome to me. I hope you continue for years to come.. so I can tag along. Happy New year Sandi!!
My son is 8 and he now watches “the sheep lady” to calm down from his anxiety attacks. You are doing long distance therapy! He doesn’t like the blood and stuff but I keep explaining it’s normal. Could you mention that in a video at some point? I don’t think he believes me that the sheep are not really hurt by the lambing! Happy new year lady!
Hey- i know i am not sandi, and sorry if this comes across rude ^^' But if i can help, dont worry- the blood is COMPLETELY normal ☺ i have helped with lambing, and the blood is not something to worry about ☺
I actually do the exact same thing to deal with my panic, since I found the channel! That's so nice that he found a way to handle anxiety attacks early, good on ya both.
Ahh how precious. What a sweet young man to be to even be interested in good animal care. A tender heart there! I'm a great granny and occasionally I decide to become the praying granny for certain people. I don't know your son's name but God does and I appoint myself his other praying granny. Good boy good son great heart!
Good idea about moving the rams to cattle barn. This will help with your space problem . And may help when it comes to tupping. Rams will be more keen to work. Keep going Sandi
Re watching some old episodes, and January 1, 2020 sandy saying her wish for the new year was that her family could take more time to spend together. She got that, in a somewhat backhanded way from the universe, but I think it made us all slow down and get that time I think we all wished we could have. Now it’s the challenge of keeping it up.
I’ve been laid up through the holidays recovering from knee surgery. Thanks for all your vlogs. I don’t know how I found your channel but am so glad I did! Good luck and know you are appreciated
Happy New Year to you too. Being friends and hanging out with your children is so wonderful. I so enjoy your vlogs. This lambing, you don't appear to be as stressed as you did during the last lambing. I so love to see your smiles and how you are enjoying this crop of lambs. I hope your 2020 will be blessed with more of the good times than the bad.
Usually I get grossed out when you go in without gloves but even I wanted to pull out that baby on the ewe lamb lol. Poor Ellie - so heartbreaking! I’ll miss the cows a lot but it will be best for her to not be alone.
Thank goodness you were there for those twins, I think mum was struggling a little and to be honest, yes it’s best to let it happen naturally and all that but she sure was grateful you made it quick for her. I have seen unreal prolapse in ewes where they are pushing so hard like that. Better to intervene and save mum. Happy new year to you and yours 🥰
Happy New Year!!! I love your channel, can't stop watching. You are a hard worker that truly loves your job. May this upcoming decade be great for you and your family.
