I've been using your system for 12 years, but 11 of those years I was only using the Crest, Listerine, and ACT (and I still flossed). I had good results, but since you've been on UA-cam I've ramped it up a bit, stopping flossing and adding Closys, MouthWatchers toothbrush, and Xylitol a year ago. WOW. The results are amazing! My teeth feel so much stronger now, and my gums have really tightened up resulting in less spacing between my teeth. My advice is to use Dr. Ellie's complete mouth care system TO THE LETTER. It works!

I have to agree, I used only crest, listerine, and act ať the beginning (and xylitol, of course), since I was a little afraid of using closys due to negative commentary by many people. Nevertheless, I gave it a try and will continue using closys, too, as it made a HUGE difference especially as regards the gum health (no gum sensitivity or bleeding any more). Just use closys strictly for one minute only, and you will get the maximum benefit 😊

@@lenka1547 It is difficult to persuade everyone to TRY the complete system...and FEEL how their teeth FEEL.
Then I suggest, once your mouth is healthy, go and experiment with all the things so many people think they want to try...
The problem is that without a "gold standard" you have no idea which product is working and which one is not.
Believe me, I have tried so many different ways to "clean my teeth" over the years -
The conclusion from me: this is the only way I do it.
With the EAXCT products - not store bought or children's - just because they "say" they have the same ingredients....for some reason it all makes a difference. Even the kind of brush you use....
      Thanks for your comment.

Hi all, I have been doing Dr. Ellie’s mouth care system for 7 months and my teeth results have been dramatic. Previously I had a variety of teeth health concerns, but being on this system has completely reversed that. My teeth are whiter, the gums no longer bleed and have tightened up. And it’s such an affordable and easy system and the impact on my teeth has literally been a miracle. So thankful for Dr. Ellie sharing this wisdom.

I had my two front teeth smashed out of my mouth before they were able to completely grow in at the age of 6. From then on I lived at the dentist.By the time I was 18 , I was traumatized and didn't want anything to do with dentists. I struggled with drug addiction for the next two decades and let me teeth fall apart. I luckily still have a majority of my front teeth on the top and the bottom except my 2 front on the top. I also have 3 of my wisdom teeth. Most of my molars are gone. I have a partial on top to fill in some of the space. I recently received two fillings for deep cavities and one of them failed. I opted to have a root canal and that too hurts at the moment. Dentist cant figure out why. They think it's an infection. Anyway, I bought your kit in the hopes I can get my remaining teeth healthy. I'm blessed to still be breathing after my trials and tribulations with drugs and I'm hopeful I can make the best out of the life I still have left to live. Thanks for all of your information. I appreciate you.

What you were saying about your skin resonated with me. Every time I went to the dentist I would be told that my gum recession was my fault because I wasn't doing enough to keep them clean. In between appointments, I would buy expensive electronic toothbrushes, waterpiks, and floss daily only to be told the same thing again. I tried pulling oil and that did make an improvement, but it only went so far. Luckily I found your mouthcare system. My teeth are now smooth, whiter and the gum pockets that I had are flattening. The Dr. Plotka's manual toothbrush is better than my high priced electronic toothbrush and it replaces flossing. I haven't been to to dentist in over a year because I know I've solved the problem and I don't want them to pick at my healed gumline. Thank you so much for saving my teeth and not believing that gum disease is caused by laziness.

Their gums were bleeding in one area on each of them, and they are almost not bleeding now. And it hurt so much when I was brushinv their teeth, they would cry. Literally after 1 week, they no longer are crying or having pain, and like I said, very little bleeding. I am AMAZED! Can't wait to do the entire regimine. I could cry happy tears myself! It takes time to make and stick to new routines, but it definitely has helped. I also now have the kids use the recommened mouthwashes and toothpaste. We are still working together on twice a day brushing, we are building healthier habits concerning brushing. It has taken time but my kids are adjusting and doing well even with the listerine. Big improvements even with not doing the routine morning and night. I am sure when we get twice a day brushing down it will improve even more! Good luck! 😊

She said, “fine, but I don’t use xylitol very often because it can damage the liver.” She’s a nurse and thinks she knows every thing. I simply googled xylitol side effects and sent her the article. Hadn't I discovered Dr. Phillip's mouth care system video six months ago, I would have undergone Invisalign and implant redone due to gum recession as biting and implant placement issue accusations from different dentists. I was skeptical with non-flossing and Xylitol gums but it has saved my gum recession from molar teeth and one implant. As gum recession is no longer an issue, I no longer have any irritation sensation on one of my molar implants. I'd say during the first two months, I still have that sensation and I had to chew Xylitol gum consistently through out the day thus it curbs that sensation (amazing). Now I only chew it after a meal. Thank you Dr. Phillip as you have saved me from lots of turmoils and money!!!❤❤❤

Dr Phillips thanks for sharing your mouthcare system. I went from an average of one cavity a year for decades (despite the usual twice a day brushing and flossing) to none in the last one year that I implemented your system. Teeth look whiter and less translucent too (I have an implant which I could compare the whiteness level). I frequently see skeptics in the comments, like Dr Phillips mentioned, not everybody needs this system, maybe they are the lucky ones with better natural protection against acidity or strep mutants, but for the rest of us which the regular dentist advice doesn't work, this is a godsend.

This osteocalcin needs to be activated by vitamin K2 before it can incorporate calcium into the dentin matrix. Could you do a video on vitamin K2 and its co-factors (such as vitamin D3, magnesium and boron) and explain how these compounds help strengthen teeth?

Thank you Dr. Ellie for generously sharing your wisdom on tooth and gum health. I had tons of cavities filled as a kid, then 4 extractions to make room for my emerging teeth, then years of painful and brutal orthodontic treatment in the 1960's. 4 wisdom teeth were removed in my 20's. My bite became unstable in my mid 30's partly due to having my teeth moved around so much as a kid, and partly from my poor habits at the time. Root planing ensued, fillings were removed and crowns were placed. Got three implants in my 40's. Gums have been stable for 20+ years from doing fairly good home care. I don't believe in deep cleaning any more. I would like to keep the teeth I have for as long as I can. I like your philosophy and wish that I could have gone with your program years ago. I have bought Listerine, Act, and the toothpaste you recommend. I use a soft toothbrush to brush/massage my gums. I already had some pure Xylitol candy on hand. The problem I'm having is all of the menthol and strong flavorings in the products. I've avoided menthol dental products for years because something, perhaps the salicylates cause my ears to ring louder and even make me feel a bit dizzy, as if a pre-migraine. Is menthol part of the therapy or could I substitute another toothpaste with the right amt of sod. fluoride or use Act mouthwash in a different, milder flavor. Not sure if any Listerine will be tolerable for daily use. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I got excited hoping they will sell at a good price but the receptionist did not even know what I was talking about until I pointed to the box in the glass case. She took it out and it was totally expired long ago. I think many dentists don't even know about Closys and that box could be a display gift from the distributor. Okay, I bought myself some Closys mouth wash, I switched my toothpaste to Crest Cavity, I got some xylitol mints that slowly release in the mouth. They are pretty cool cause they can be stuck to your gum, or cheek. I sleep with one in my mouth every night. I'm vigorously brushing my gums 3 times a day. All of the redness and puffiness in my gums is gone now and they are not bleeding at all anymore. So far it's been about 2 months which amazes me how fast the progress has been. Prior to switching to this regimen my gums bled like crazy even when I wasn't brushing my teeth, they were so red and swollen. I've got many pockets in the 4 and 5 range and my teeth hurt all the way down into my jaw. I wonder if I can heal all of the deep pockets doing what I'm now doing. Anyone else in a similar situation? Did you heal those deep pockets on this system?

Question for Dr. Ellie: I have not had a cleaning since beginning your Complete Mouth Care System for about the past 9 months. One of your cautions about dental cleanings is that it will strip away the dental biofilm that is enhanced by the CMCS. Discussing this with my dentist -- a renown global educator -- he told me that the biofilm restores itself ~24 hours after a dental cleaning. What is he (or I) missing?

You can make your own mouthwashes and have the formulas available for a fee and people can make them by themselves using essential oils.
There is a brand of essential oil which can be ingested and with them these mouthwashes can be made safely and better because there no need for unnecessary ingredients as artificial colors and flavors.

Hi Dr. Phillips! I have been using your system for 2 months and I can tell a great difference in my teeth. My teeth feel like I've gone thru a teeth cleaning each time I brush at night and bad breath is gone even the dreaded morning breath.
But I have noticed one change. My molar teeth are more sensitive to hot and cold temperature since I've started the routine. Do you know why this might be and what I can do about it?
Thank you for all of the education!!!

Fluoride affects the body and the brain. It dumbs you down through the central nervous system. Fluoride is a waste water byproduct of Aluminum production. It was super expensive to dispose of but the evils ones figured out how to make money off it by adding it food, water and other products. There's plenty of science out there talking about the dangers of Fluoride. Seek and ye shall find. Good luck.

I used to work corporately for Estee Lauder. Clinique was founded in 1968. If Dr Ellie graduated from dental school in the UK in 1964... I don't believe she was a teenager when she first went to the Clinique counter, because it was launched in London in 1969. I'm trying Ellie's dental system and believe everything she says regarding that. But I do believe that perhaps she got her dates and ages confused regarding her skin care routine.

Been on this system-in its complete form- for a few months. So far so good. I will post an update at my 6-month mark. I started thinking though
"If most dentists agree about not eating or drinking for up to 4 hours after brushing, and that acidity is bad, then-since the toothpaste has more fluoride than the ACT- wouldn't it be smarter to use the Listerine BEFORE brushing?"
NO... Dr EP goes over this briefly in her first video but I'm glad she addresses it right away in this one. First, the primary role of the toothpaste in this system is as a lubricant so you can safely brush your gums. She claims that the toothpaste still provides remineralizing action during this process. I looked it up and what she said checks out scientifically 100%. The fluoride ions in the toothpaste bind to enamel surfaces almost immediately, forming a temporary calcium fluoride layer. That layer dissolves as soon as you're finished brushing, releasing fluoride ions that interact with hydroxyapatite to form fluorapatite. The hydrated silica in the toothpaste aids in this process. That's all that's required from this step because that's all that's needed for the calcium and phosphate in your saliva to remineralize your teeth! The long-lasting protection is achieved in the last step with the ACT. Despite having a lower concentration of fluoride than the toothpaste, the ACT mouthwash is a much more efficient and well thought-out delivery system for the fluoride compared to brushing with toothpaste so this step is when the real, long-term, protective fluoride treatment happens. And as she states briefly in her first video, the thoroughly cleansed mouth combined with the slightly acidic conditions left by the Listerine maximize the efficacy of the ACT formula. The 0.05% sodium fluoride in the ACT will have maximal "sticking" power on the teeth's surfaces, providing long-term protection and allowing fantastic remineralization from the most meaningful source-the saliva! (granted you stay up on your xylitol!). And as a bonus side-effect, the ACT also sends the acidity of the Listerine down the drain when you spit it out. Truly elegant. It was silly of me to think I could improve upon this system but I'm glad that I did because after I had a deeper look into the science, I saw the true elegance in this powerful system that could only have come from years of fine-tuning.
It's official. It's backed by science. Don't try to change it or mess with it at all. Use it EXACTLY as prescribed by Dr Ellie. Nothing you do could possibly improve it because this is THE ULTIMATE oral care routine!

I used to just brush my teeth in the morning after brekki and last thing before bed. Min 3 mins long and attentive. No flossing as nothing got stuck. Never in life had coffee, cigarettes or alcohol but brushed with discipline since I was a child. Had no fillings until now. Am 37yo. Noticed some black spot and tiny hole on one bottom back tooth 2 years ago. Had not seen a dentist in 14 years. This one dentist recently said it is only a superficial cavity, a hole, not visible on x ray yet. Recommended cleaning and filling. I wanted to do it myself. Used Listerine cool mint, fluroide toothpaste from grands and xylitol gum and cut out cane sugar for 6 months (with 5 naughty treats) and now my teeth started staining, getting circles of darkening and spots on the front flat surfaces. Google search found mouth washes cause that. I am using whitening toothpaste now but think I have to stop trying myself and get that hole fixed up with a filling as well as my fist professional clean. Chewing gum is not gonna do that, I don't believe any more. Nothing looks different if at all then worse elsewhere on top of the hole. Sorry for being the bad news person.
