Όχι. Η κακία των ανθρώπων διώχνει Την Θεία Χάρη. Αυτά είναι τα έργα της διχόνοιας μας και του φθόνου μας. Καλούμε τον διάβολον και απολαμβάνουμε τα έργα του. Πάντα όμως το Φως διώχνει το σκότος.
Όταν οι άνθρωποι πολεμούν ο Θεός δεν ασχολείται και καλά κάνει.Η θρησκεία δεν δίδαξε πολέμους οπότε μην επικαλείσαι τον Θεό Άστον στην άκρη Όποτε μας συμφέρει θυμόμαστε τον Θεό και τον Χριστό.Ο Χριστός μιλούσε για ειρήνη και αγάπη δεν μιλούσε για τανκς .

Δεν θα ξεχάσουμε ποτέ την προδοσία των συμμάχων! Γνώριζαν ότι εάν γίνει πραξικόπημα θα εισβάλουν στην Κύπρο οι εχθροί μας και τι κάνανε; Άφησαν τα πράγματα ως έχουν. 😢 Μέχρι και σήμερα αδιαφορούν και πολλές φορές κινδυνολογουν.σε βάρος του Κυπριακού λαού.😢 Πότε άραγε θα έρθει δικαίωση; Τι απέγιναν οι συγγενείς μας;
Δεν υπάρχει Κυπριακός λαός. Στην Κύπρο υπάρχουν δύο λαοί, όχι ένας. Δεν υπάρχουν "Κύπριοι" με την εθνική έννοια, δεν υπάρχει "Κυπριακό" έθνος. Ο όρος "Κύπριος" είναι τοπικός/γεωγραφικός, όχι εθνικός/εθνοτικός. Στην Κύπρο υπάρχουν δύο μεγάλα έθνη, Έλληνες και Τούρκοι, και κάποιες μικρές μειονότητες. Εθνοθρησκευτικές ή εθνικές μειονότητες όπως οι Αρμένιοι και οι Μαρωνίτες, θρησκευτικές μειονότητες όπως π.χ. οι Λατίνοι κ.α. Υπάρχει επίσης και μία ιδιαίτερη εθνοπολιτισμική ομάδα, οι Ρομά (κάποιοι από αυτούς είναι μουσουλμάνοι και κάποιοι χριστιανοί, ενταγμένοι στην τουρκοκυπριακή και την ελληνοκυπριακή κοινότητα αντίστοιχα). Γιατί θα πρέπει ντε και καλά Ελληνοκύπριοι και Τουρκοκύπριοι να ζουν μαζί; Οι Τουρκοκύπριοι δεν πρόκειται να ξαναγυρίσουν ως μειονότητα σε ένα κράτος κατά βάση Ελληνοκυπρίων.

Η προδοσία έγινε από αυτούς που αργότερα ονομάστηκαν εθναρχες σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο !!!! Οι ισραηλινοι ισοπεδωσαν τη Γάζα για 200 αγνοουμενους.......κι εμείς τότε αφενός φαγωθηκαμε μεταξύ μας ( οι Έλληνες) κι αφ ετέρου δεν στήσαμε στα 10 μέτρα τους υπεύθυνους : Μακάριο, Καραμανλή, Ιωαννιδη, Μπονανο, Αραπακη, Παπανικολάου, Γκιζικη ( αυτοί βγήκαν " λάδι" κάποιοι αγιοποιηθηκαν και κάποιοι έφυγαν με " τιμές" ) - αλλά κάποια στιγμή πρέπει να συνέλθουμε σαν ελληνισμός και βα ζητήσουμε σοβαρή και υπεύθυνη και όχι καιροσκοπικη διακυβέρνηση για τον ελληνικό χώρο γιατί αλλιώς θα ξαναζησουμε το 1974!!!! Ήδη βλέπουμε σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο ότι τα ιδια λάθη επαναλαμβανονται!!!!! Μένουμε αγκυροβολημενοι στο "διεθνές δικαιο" και στη "σωστη πλευρά της ιστορίας" καθώς και στις " συμμαχίες μας" ενώ οι τουρκοι δεν κάνουν ούτε βήμα από τις διεκδικήσεις τους οι οποίες θα λάβουν σάρκα και οστά στην πρώτη ευνοϊκή γιαυτους ευκαιρία!!!

If you could explain the Akritas plan and enosis a little bit, the world would understand the truth better.
Ahh yes the Akritas plan you like to wave around in order to justify 1974 12 years later.
The plan which was formulated by a secret organisation EOK was for the withdrawal from the constitution of Cyprus with the aim of eventual enosis with Greece, and was written by former cabinet members in 1961-62.
It was written in secrecy, and the Greek Cypriot population knew nothing of this until it was exposed by a newspaper called Patris. In any case, it was a plan beyond stupid, since as part of the plan it involved the elimination of Turkish Cypriots who would have resisted such a move. Nothing came of it.
Enosis, was the wish of the Greek Cypriot majority to rid Cyprus of British colonialism and unite with Greece.
However, since most Greeks Cypriots knew that this would mean the partition of the island it was accepted that an independent Cyprus was the only option.
This is a very simplistic overview, because like everything else it is far more complicated and involved players outside the two communities.
I would ask you, what would the Turks have done if they would have been the majority of 80% on Cyprus and wanted to unite with Turkey?

Would the island become a completely Greek country, what are the legal base for this? This is exactly the reason why Turkey intervened in the island in 1974 based on its right to be a guarantor, you ignored the Turks and their constitutional rights, you tried to declare the island as Greek territory and bring it to unity with Greece, and Turkey rightfully did what was necessary.
Classical Greek theses; in fact, there WAS NO AKRITAS plan, EOKA was founded against the British (so why did they attack and kill Turks?) The island of Cyprus is Greek, these theses have no validity because they have no legal basis.
There is the 1960 constitution and the London-Zurich agreements, under which the parties have signed,
It was clear that the aim was to reduce the Turks to minority status, the murders of EOKA and the annexation of the island to Cyprus (ENOSIS) were a situation that did not comply with the agreements, the constitution and historical facts, in 1974 Turkey used the authority given to it by international law to intervene militarily in the island,

On the contrary to your carcastic claim, there was an Akritas plan and attempts were made to implement it. (December 20, 1963) This plan and the ENOSIS dream were prevented in 1974, and the Greek Cypriot people gained the right to live in peace in their own region.

To answer your question as to what would have happened to the Turkish Cypriots in the event of Cyprus uniting with Greece I would say I do not know, beause it never happened. However, let us look at Greece and Turkey and their treatment of the respective Turkish and Greek minorities.
In Greece, there is large and growing Turkish minority of over 200,000 with full representation in the Greek parliament.
In Turkey, what happened to the Greeks of Istanbul, and how many remain there? I remind you, that they were meant to be protected under the same treaties you talk about right? That did not stop Turkey from instigating a pogrom against them in 1955 killing, and looting their shops and property.
My grandfather was from Istanbul.
The cause for the pogrom was the alleged attack of Ataturk's house in Thessaloniki which was later shown to actually have been carried out by a Turk.
About EOKA. EOKA was indeed against British colonialism, and the exploitation of Cypriot resources in the name of the British empire and as I said for enosis.
Were Turkish Cypriots attacked? Yes, after the British encouraged and recruited Turkish Cypriots in auxilliary police squads to suppress Greek Cypriot protests against them. This, as we have seen in the past, is a standard practice by the British.
EOKA B were nothing more than a bunch of fascists who could not accept Cyprus as a independent state and carried out terrorist attacks against the Makarios government who was supported by over 90% of the Greek Cypriots. When their plan did not succeed, and Makarios tried to remove Greek officers who he knew were plotting against him, the junta struck and instigated the coup against him where he was briefly overthrown.
1974 was not about enosis, but about partition which is what we have today.
Turkey was not really the instigator, but the beneficiary.
If you want to understand more, I suggest you put your anti-Greek Cypriot views aside, and search for an article published by the BBC using the key words "Ted Macey, Britain's Murky past in Cyprus"
Were Turkish Cypriots murdered? Yes.
Many were murdered by Greek Cypriot, some by Turks for belonging to left wing unions together with Greek Cypriots, as well as Greek Cypriots killed by Greek Cypriots for the same reason.
There is also the admition of Mr Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu (commander of Turkish special forces in Cyprus) to Habertürk that the set fire to mosques in Cyprus in order to inflame the Turkish Cypriots who would naturally blame the Greeks.
Mr Yirmibeşoğlu can also be found having a hand in the 1955 Istanbul pogroms as published by Bir Gün with the title,
"Özel Harp işiydi ve muhteşemdi’: 6-7 Eylül Pogromu ve bir Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu portresi"
