Aight gotchu! There definetely is a way to animation cancel without dodging tho, as you can perform them out of lunges. Its a bit weird however, because you need to not only hold block and get the timing done, but also hold your 'movement button' in some direction. Thats why I was curious and also some other tutorial on yt said it was possible after normal swings, but i never could get that to work. If you didn't hear about the lunge animation cancel yet i'd definetely suggest you try it out! Not the most usefull mechanic but helpful in some situations

This is all thanks to a platform called Kyber. If you subscrieb to their patron (like 5$ a month) then you can get access to their discord and the download. Then you can play on servers with people!
