Bought a 24 1100 DCT this last summer. its my first ever bike i bought myself. Couldn't be happier. Missing the hell out of it right now. Starting to have dreams about riding lol Spring cant come fast enough
Amazing to bump into you the other day Alex, what an amazing ride I had on my CMX1100. With only 233 miles on the clock, I'm going to enjoy many, many more. Hopefully I'll see you around.
The DCT actually does have a clutch (no lever though). Two in fact, one for the odd gears and one for even. Shifting is computer controlled, but it is essentially a manual internally. Two gears are engaged simultaneously but the clutches alternate. I rode my dad's Africa Twin DCT and it's actually not bad.
Swapped out my Ducati Scrambler 1100, for one of these. Honda hasn’t skipped a beat, unlike the Ducati, it’s a joy to ride, cool and comfortable while being better than the Ducati when doing a bit of spirited riding. I have the pillion back rest and the missus doesn’t seem to mind it, that said she is rather small and I could it being an issue if you’re above average sized. Other than the bike is a perfect do it all solution. I ride it everyday to work and back, sitting and moving through traffic is a breeze, the low seat height makes it easy to manage in tight spaces. I’d never really considered a cruiser before but I kinda get it now, it’s one of those bike you like more and more as you live with it.
The bike looks too small for you. Seat looks very low. Being the same size as you, this aspect puts me off. I like the fact it's not too heavy, has good performance & ground clearance. It just needs to be BIGGER!
What I'd like to know, is what does it look like compared to a Harley or Indian bobber? I'm not talking about the engine mind you. I'm talking about it's height and length. I don't want to drive something that looks small. What I mean by that is cars seeing me on the road. Thanks
@@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel nice review nevertheless! 😀 I have mine with DCT about a year now and totally in love! I have even put to shame a couple fast naked bikes... I mean it shouldn't be that fast for a cruiser!!

Right on PJ, yeah, so you can see how much I like from the video eh, a really great ride

I have the 2023 1100, and I love it. First thing I changed was the exhaust and the seat.

This is a good review, thanks for sharing that
Great review, well put together, informative.
Thanks!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)
It just doesn't jump out at you like my 23 Indian Scout Bobber 60 ABS! Guess I just prefer old school!

If you want bigger.... you need to go Harley or Indian unfortunately.
Good review...
Thank you :)

Wheels are 18'' front - 16'' back
Yes, you’re right, that fact slipped through the cracks

The ignition key is in a dumb place. Just waiting to be hit and bent in the ignition lock.
Sold my….reach is too far…..many people adding longer bars+ raiser for comfort but affecting the looks
😀👍
Why de tune! 🥱
She looks great on this bike, but you're too big for it. I think this bike is more suited for someone under 6 foot tall.
I hate the ergo's on that bike.😢
Im 6,3 , is that too tall for this?
Hmmm, not sure. It was fine for me at 6’1 with long arms and legs
