Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. trolling in 2015, jacked up my car in confusion
the car has to be jacked up so it doesn't roll away from the extra bass :))
41 people jacked up there car
Now 58 😂
and everyone who dident died :(
I wonder how many trolls were getting ready to post about not having to jack up the car ?
Henrico Sacco dont see why they would need to jack it up
thats the point edgar. you dont need to jack up the car but thats what they always start with.
Lol I was wondering why they jacked the car hahaha
A Essack it’s a joke in the mcm community
Hahaha 4 years later and I'm like the fuck we jacking the car for
yeah. Me too. ha ha
I think "Jack up the car" is kind of MCM's moto. That's why they do it even when doing such trivial tasks as replacing the door speakers ;)
when do i stop jacking my car
Shrumins When it hits an airplane.
When stuff comes out of the tail pipe.
MovieFanaticMike
Shrumins they never jack up the car anymore...
willdmackie lmao
"Were removing all the Tokyo bondage tape" LOOOOOL
ghostbb bentley I am also laughing out out out out out loud
Wow. The show has changed quite a lot. They should definitely re-do a video like this and include all new speakers and a sub.
@21Jimmy86 Neither of us smoke.
this whole time was wondering why you jacked up the car...
This also gives you an instant 50kilowatts more power
@4jiggy1 It splits the signal and sends part of it to the speaker, and part of it to the tweeters.
this is the only show that makes working on your car fun and actually works maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
@a1ex02 Use what you can afford. Most of the items of a 'same brand' come from a whole host of different factories in different countries anyway, so trust your judgement, and your ears!
even tho ive done half the things you guys do, i still watch every episode cause you guys are awsome
I love how people actually believed that the car needed to be jacked up! Haha :')
Lol these two, are still going strong in 2016. Congrats guys
with Moog and Marty you ALWAYS NEED TO JACK UP THE CAR!!
Thank god for people like you guys.
These guys are funny, and informative. I love it. Subscribed!
This show is one of the best in youtube
I've never laughed so much at an instructional video. Bedroom door mounts hahah
That was awesome guys! Love the song Moog
I love the song you made Moog, its playing all the time in my car :D
Another great episode, very informative. Keep up the good work.
They make simple stuff look hard
oh man the quality has come so far
I've never been a fan of the Silvia, till I seen Moog's :D
Now, I'm in love haha.
@TCBxJeff 'Overdrive' by MOOG. It's on iTunes. Just search for MOOG JS7 or MOOG OVERDRIVE and you will find it.
Good episode guys! Any performance installs for the car in the future?
aww smol marty and moog. Such good memories of this years later
lol I was so confused about why I need to jack up the car these guys are too much, great video.
i live in the states and these guys are awesome
Love your guys' vids! Keep em comin!

y'all are amazing
@nipperoid We ship tshirts worldwide and there are a whole range available. The TRDLZR ended up getting crushed!
Pretty stupid not putting that song on your channel guys. Searched it here on youtube and I'm listening to it now.
ITS LIKE MY BIRTHDAY WHEN I FIND AN EPISODE I HAVNT SEEN
ive actually watched most if not all of the vids
seeing that im out of work and dont have college til spring i got nothing better to do but gaming and vids
Awesome video! I wonder how many people actually jacked up their car for the door panel speaker mount.
God i love these guys!!!!
when are u guys uploading a vid for amp and sub etc? cant wait for that!! :D
good work guys love the channel, keep it up (Y)
Id recommend a cross-over to limit the bass to a certain frequency, aswell as a 2 ohm setup, youll get deeper bass and youll get crisper sound in the smaller 8 speakers, this will also prep your setup for a set of tweeters if you choose to.
Where was the Dynamat or similar? Informative none the less, well done fellas.
@bordom007 most cars (my own 01 accord) had rivets instead of screws straight from the factory..so your gonna have to cut/grind then off to remove the stock speakers. For the new speakers you just need to drill new holes..
for the s15 you can actually put the tweeter on the plastic cover that covers the door latch. If you look behind that plastic cover you can clearly see that there was supposed to be a tweeters there yet no s15 was ever released with a tweeter there. Note the plastic is thick.
Nice looking speakers. Phase plugs FTW
nice video on How To Install Car Speakers!!!!!!!!!!!!
what if my car doesn't have Japanese bondage tape? will it still work!?
Nope, you'll have to import a pallet of the stuff from a Japanese dungeon and keep at least two rolls in your car at all times.
Scheiße! Where can one find a Japanese dungeon?!?
+RunningRiot only on deepweb bro
Tokyo bondage tape lol
can ya'll make a video on how to increase the mounting depth for car speakers? I am trying to put some compunent speakers in the rear of my 92 prelude.
@stufoo Your stock head unit may already have rca out or else you could use line converters, do some online research into your car but if you want to DIY you are going to have to pull your stock unit out
when connecting the wires from positive to negative will they play regardless of which one goes on which. idk if i plugged mine right bc it makes a loud vibrating sound when first turning the car on. but stops after like 4 vibrations
i'm so used to them jacking up the car that when i saw them do it this time, i completely forgot this was a video on speaker installations and by the time they installed them, i had forgotten the car was jacked up lol
If I wanted to to add a Center Dash channel to a stock 4-channel radio, is it OK to use the left front positive lead, and the right front negative lead with an 8 ohm L-pad to create a center dash mono channel?
I love the intro
would of been nice ig u guys did an amp n sub install as well but it was still good
Hahaha...I was saying the same thing too at the end, why do you have to jack up your car? lol. good one boys!
@combatarms268 It could not be re-registered and we didn't want to been seen in it ever again.
love your sense of humor!!!! :D
@4jiggy1 keeps the Bass to the subs, and the high notes to the tweeter
What's the headunit you have in there? I LOVE the touchscreen!
Which speakers would you recomend for e46 bmw touring? and what specs should i choose ? thanks in advance ;)
(If you've already gotten the work done disregard this comment) I would say that if you were looking for loud but not to loud, replace the interior speakers. The 03 Oldsmobile Aurora that I'm driving now is really fuckin loud, and has a fuck-ton of bass, but it's all concealed inside the car. Just enough bass to where it's much louder than stock on the inside, but barely louder than stock on the outside.
why dont you do a video on how to repaint your car?from start to finish
Thanks great video
Ha, look at you two working in a standard garage, I bet you'd never have thought you be were you are now :) well done guys!!
I wish they used adverts. Feel bad looking over these and seeing they have made little money off them. They deserve more
Yolothereindeer- COC Bases & Strategy The only UA-cam's were I wouldn't mind watching ads to support them
@@jakemeikle537 I’m glad they don’t have ads on the old ones. Old UA-cam authenticity
@HansyPants184 Look out your window. It's HD outside and should make you much happier.
Another very important thing to remember is the polarity of the speaker wires coming from the head unit
You have to jack the car up for anything that you do. It is a MightyCarMods necessity
"Choose a song you know well" and then he uses his own music, lol
Awesome video I almost jacked up my car lol
well i did upgrade the speakers and my amp is a kinda cheap 1 from my old car but will replace that at some point though and ofc im getting my new kw in the car also just got home 2 stickers from the web shop 14 days of waiting by the mailbox is hard
i know you guys arent too keen on keeping your cars stock but i have a new mitsubishi lancer and i want to keep the factory radio because i think it looks better than a new head unit but how would i install sub woofers without having to hack apart my dash?
Hello . Make a video installation cd changer in the car/in the Vauxhall Vectra B - ok ?
when i turn my car on the speakers vibrate. where should i get detenning
paper so it will sound better and could my problem be bc i didnt Saudered my wires together. the just plugged in. i dont think i had to sauder them
@parkero83 Oh, fair enough. I only stumbled across this channel not long ago, and as a mechanic I enjoy watching their vids.
They totally forgot to mention you have to remove the transmission before installing the speakers. It makes it so much either to jack up the car.
Really useful vid, thanks a lot for sharing ;-)
I miss your Silvia moog!
And rake loves it ! :)
Haha, i was thinking, "The first thing you're going to need to do is jack up your car." when i clicked on the video... Didn't actually expect you to do it.
So funny how u guys do this jack up the car thing, no matter what the mod is!
@mexicanskater12 now because you don't work under the car but for safety
you can disconect the negative from your battery
Dont be Maaaaaaaad! Thats the proper way to install the speakers. Mightymods style!
LOL I was wondering why these guys jacked up the car, then ... :) Awesome video guys, I'm subbing and please do sub install next.
Love you guys! You are f**king awesome! Waiting for your new vid all week. Great job guys keep up the good work. :)
LOL. That's what i thought. Why would you jack up your car to change speakers? :L
hahaha i dont even know ANYTHING ABOUT CARS!! but i love watching it jsut coz its funny as!! keep up the good work!!!
@geppegep umm mechanics, car enthusiasts the list goes on and on
@leaguechamps07 its got to do with splitting sound into the tweeters or something like that...
That would be fly with some pioneer fusion speakers!
What song were you guys using to test your speakers?
good work :P
Love your work boys, but why did you have to jack it up to replace speakers?? Is it to have a better work height?? (baffled)
Hi Marty and Moog
I have a question, i've just bought all new speakers for my 2005 Subaru WRP10, they are 100RMS and will be running off a 500watt Kenwood 4ch i would like to know can i use the factory speaker wires from the door and then my thicker from the back of the head unit to the amp or should i run them directly to the new speaker ? if so how would i go about doing it ?
Sataneliteoneshots actually for that little extra from the use of a amp. bigger wires do make a difference
It depends on the audio quality your looking for. Thicker higher rated cables can handle higher power and generally produce better quality audio. However the difference in quality is very small when running 6-6.5" speakers under about 120watts rms. Running aftermarket wiring can seem complicated but it is usually worth it. Just tape your new wire to the speaker end of your current wires and pull them through from the amp or headunit. The new wires will follow the old exactly. :)
I connected everything as you said. But when I'm accelerating the car I hear a whistle/ beep from the speakers.
Those mounts +10kw and mad JDMNESS
Please can you tell me what is THE easiest wat to place the + drom THE back of mine Sirion daithatsu to THE batterie
I am much obliged. Thanx
Thanks!
