It looks fantastic! But, I would still go for the Odyssey. It does everything pretty much well, and it's already been proven. Plus, it's won more awards than any of its competition. Although the Sedona is very nice, it hasn't been proven through time yet. Questions arise when you consider reliability, build quality, longevity and resale value.
The front does remind me one of the Ford vehicles in their lineup. Imagine if Ford really brought the Windstar minivan back to compete, now that Ford has Eco-Boost engines, direct injection, AWD, and soon-to-come 9 speed transverse automatic transmissions.
technically speaking ford replaced the windstar with the ford flex which while not a minivan does offer 7 seats awd and a tow package. unfortunately those are not selling well because one of the draws for a minivan is the elevated seating that you can't get with the for flex which is more of a crossover/wagon and lower to the ground.
Kamaka Chang Well, look up the percentage of minivan owners who no longer have children at home. The average age of a minivan buyer is 57! Compare that to twenty years ago when the average age was 30. I’m sure the reason minivans are becoming more luxurious and expensive is closely tied to this fact. Minivans have had to go up-market, because a large percentage of families with children are now choosing a crossover.
Just read Kia will let you update this system for Apple CarPlay and android auto. The only current minivan that has that. Kia is really stepping up their game.
I think they are the best preowned vehicles on the market. In less than two years you can find them for 60% original MSRP. Can't beat getting a $37K 2014 Kia Cadenza for $22K right now.
Smokey BEAR The stigma still lives on. As a consumer that lives by the "pay in cash" and "20 percent" rules, I love the Koreans. As an enthusiast, I hope Biermann does for performance what Schreyer did for design.
KIA really knows how to make large vehicles. It's part owner, Hyundai, is a military specialist, manufacturing the world's most technologically advanced army tank called the K2 Black Panther. I would trust my money on Hyundai-KIA rather than Toyota.
1:30 you know when these vans are 16-18 years old and they become the kids first car that they will try and wedge these levers open and then weave around some light poles to get thrown side to side. If you don’t believe me you don’t know teenage boys.
Price is starting to rise with the quality... Still probably a value in terms of feature set, but we'll see how they do as their price & quality converge /w the other big-name companies.
Cooley did you feel anything while testing the Sedona? Your tone sounds like you just had been given half a bottle of anti-ADD pills, is the Sedona just that boring?
I have a 2005 grand caravan only 2 wheel drive had it for over 7 years in Buffalo winters and never need it a all wheel drive. Only had 30,000 when I bought it in 2007 for $10,900.
Kia Sedona just showed up in consumer reports as one of the worst cars of 2015. Essentially their calling it out for squeaky, rattling and vague steering .
Can you please make this more kid-friendly? My younger brother made me watch this and "sexy" and "crap" and "hate each other" are Not good words. Thank you.
The 3rd row is quite small, a narrow bench with very little headroom. I also don't like the lightning bolt shrinks the 3rd row windows. At least it looks better than before.
Kia/hyundais are getting way overpriced with way to many options they nickle n dime u on and their ekectronics are unreliable and not covered under the 100,000 warranty
Brian Cooley. The man who can make a review of a mini van interesting.
Any one else not interested in this Kia at all but just watched it because it's Cooley?
You're an idiot, shut up.
Kia is really stepping up their game .
the kia k900 looks amazing
+Jay no way

I thought for sure after seeing the video title that this car would be reviewed by one of the other presenters. To my delight, it was Cooley!
I like this presenter and at last a focus on tech in a car review, keep up the good work
I bought a Rio last year and I'm still enjoying it

Did Cooley finally upgrade his Galaxy S3 to a Nexus 5?
It's interesting that minivans buyers have gone from affordable family haulers to these luxury wagons easily topping $40k.

Good review of the Kia Sedona Cooley . I see you added some video of the Kia headquarters in Irvine nice !!!!
Once again another great review!
Watching this 16 seconds after upload!!
You tha maaaan!
I know it's pointless to buy but does the Sedona not offer a rear seat entertainment package?
Just read Kia will let you update this system for Apple CarPlay and android auto. The only current minivan that has that. Kia is really stepping up their game.
but their car dont last for long this design was similar to toyota siennna
Dude this Kia is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I always feel weird about spending more then 30 grant on a kia.

Young Knives

and how often do you spend >30 on a kia?
***** I meant 60% of the original $37k as opposed to 60% off the original $37k. Im no mathematician though so sorry.
2015 Rankings for minivans/multipurpose vehicles:
1) 2015 KIA Sedona
2) 2015 Honda Odyssey
3) 2015 Chrysler Town and Country
4) 2015 Toyota Sienna

MilanoFootball Hyundai is also the world's largest shipbuilding company!

Why is that thing called, mini van ?

please review Kia Optima!
The entire MPG segment is wrong. Only the SXL gets 19 MPG. All other trims gets 21, the SX gets even better mileage.
I have a 2005 grand caravan only 2 wheel drive had it for over 7 years in Buffalo winters and never need it a all wheel drive. Only had 30,000 when I bought it in 2007 for $10,900.
Alphard is the best minivan.
Sadly its not in America :(
Kia Sedona just showed up in consumer reports as one of the worst cars of 2015. Essentially their calling it out for squeaky, rattling and vague steering .
3:53 Chrysler does 20 mpg while the Sedona does 21 >>> how come the Chrysler is better?
I've heard that the chryslers tend to do a little better than they are rated. My parents '09 Honda on the other hand...
Can you please make this more kid-friendly? My younger brother made me watch this and "sexy" and "crap" and "hate each other" are Not good words. Thank you.
You mean this girl when you said this guy. You don't ever refer to a minivan as a man.
I read the third row is cramped.
The 3rd row is quite small, a narrow bench with very little headroom. I also don't like the lightning bolt shrinks the 3rd row windows. At least it looks better than before.
Use a tripod inside the car as well ...
VW Sharan is much better...
I just bought this yesterday. Very roomy compared to suv.
Классный автомобиль!!! Черти подарите мне такой!!!!!!

Realtime Reviews Incorrect imbecile.
I don't understand why people are posivite to KIA. It is overpriced and not a good car. Better buy Toyota, Nissan, Honda etc. Please think wisely.
Andrew Cho you're an imbecile and frankly just incorrect.
Absolute pile of shit, but seeing Cooley review it makes it decent..
I don't know how you can like his review when you completely ignored his opinion.
***** Because he likes looking at middle-aged men and not cars.
