Some people just seem to have sooo much energy! Meanwhile I have pdsd, ADHD, anxiety, depression. All which make me live a very boring life. I have phobias that keep me home most of the time. Usually in bed. But in my imagination I'd be hosting parties like this. What a dream. ✨

I would love to invite all my female family members to a lovely brunch like the one you hosted. It's beautiful. For my Mother's 80th birthday party I bought 4 bouquets of mixed flowers and bought mini milk bottles, rose-colored ribbon and made mini flower arrangements as centerpieces at the end I gave them away as party favors.

Beautiful centerpiece! To help the hydrangea last longer, after you crush the ends of the stem, dip the crushed end in alum spice, and then place it in water. The alum helps the plant to draw water and keep it hydrated.

@@shabbyfufugramma It is mainly for hydrangea, but can work well with other stems that have a spongy core like tree peony and sunflower.

Every wedding/event planner located in a country/rural location who watches this video will go mad over the chicken feeder trough being used as a decorative centerpiece. Genius! I once did wedding photography having my mother as my assistant...never did we ever see a chicken feeder trough, or any trough for that matter as decoration. ...I so enjoy and learn from your videos where you make wonderful creative use of unexpected things and things you already have. Thank you for your time and work.

Everything is beautiful, as always. your attendees must have had a wonderful time. Might I make a suggestion? I am not sure what your situation is but a lot of youtubers (Garden Answer, which I love, being one of them) offer their recipes free of charge on their channel (in description box, and I am always grateful) as a treat to their subscribers. Seems the majority of the times you cook or bake you seldom post your recipes in description box as a treat for your subscribers. Just my opinion. I get it people have to make a living and you're are not in it for fun but it would be great for you to post at least one of your recipes for your humble followers free of charge. I hope people on here don't crucify me for being honest about my opinion.
That is a nice idea... maybe a freebie recipe, as a teaser...to draw us into her Etsy shop! Honest opinions, given respectfully and with grace, as you have done... are just fine with me! I believe the viewers here, are not ones to judge others....or to be offended by gentle comments.... so no worries here!

I understand where you are coming from but I believe what she sells in Etsy for 2.99 is worth it and a good value. She gives you advice on decor, what to meal prep ahead of time, all recipes with pictures and pretty font, a menu with all items listed as well as a grocery list for easy shopping. She really does the planning for you. It’s quite a good deal for 2.99!!
The recipes are all fairly simple so you’re really paying for the planning aspect. She did a good amount of the leg work for you. Hope this makes sense!

Such an elegant and beautiful party. When I was growing up parties were a part of our lives. I remember helping my mom prepare and followed in her footsteps. My husband and I enjoyed entertaining. Watching you put this event together brought back happy memories and I hope it will inspire young women like yourself to a more gentile style of gathering with friends to enjoy good food and conversation in a lovely setting.
All I can say is "Wow"! Garden parties are a lot of work, but to make, paint, and sand a table for it? No wonder, you're so slim-some of the items you were carrying were as big as you! I'd be down for 6 months after putting all that work and thought into an event-you're just amazing and yes! I want to come to the next one!!

My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this year and I still remember the luncheon one of my bride's maids held for me and the other bride's maids the week before the wedding. She had beautiful decorations and the main course was barbecued chicken legs with paper frills on the end of them . . . she made the frills herself . . . so fancy! Mary, the party was stunning. Love that you mixed things up. The chicken feeder - genius . When I was younger and had a lot more energy I had along with church friends many tea parties.
