So I'm currently facing the same issue of it starting up and then shutting down after a few seconds. I've disassembled it and one key difference I noticed is that mine shuts off quicker. Maybe because the fan doesn't spin or it doesn't get enough startup time to spin. But this issue just started happening out of nowhere and all of a sudden. In the coming weeks I'll try to get power bank replacement and a hard drive replacement (not sure if I'll need to download and run the script or not because it seems difficult to me). I know it’s not overheating because I completely dissembled the console and applied new thermal paste to try to fix my issue it did not. Could this be a hard drive issue? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated
Been having this same problem but it seems to work on and off it isn't this bad though I was thinking of just gard resting the hard drive but if that doesn't work then I know for sure I need a new hard drive.
Sadly nothing seems to be working for me. I think mine is a software issue. Mine turns on but only stays on for about 3 to 5 seconds. Seen a couple of videos that says blow hot or cold air in and in both videos it works. Spent about 20 minutes doing both hot and cold air but neither worked. The reason I think it is a software issue is because of the Bing app. In the past, I go to launch the Bing app and sometimes it fails to open and keeps trying to open but doesn't which prevents general use of the xbox as it tries to open the app constantly so I have to turn the console off and back on again, uninstall the Bing app, reinstall the Bing app and it loads but today, I turned the xbox on, signed into my account, went to launch the Bing app, it gave me the Bing loading page for about 20 seconds or so and then the console just shut down and won't turn on ever since. I think instead of failing to load the Bing app, it is now failing to load the boot/BIOS of the console but just an assumption and Microsoft want me to spend £152.10 to send them the console that I am pretty sure their Bing app broke. Tried all troubleshooting guides, resorted to YT vids and following these guides but nothing seems to work. Now seen your video which is making me think that maybe it is a faulty hard drive as a result of faulty software from the Bing app but no idea. I've not got the tools, skills or bravery to attempt my own fix and a bit miffed now as to what to do next.
