Chris de Burgh is from another planet, there is nobody left in music like this guy, it does not surprise me that he is hugely popular in Europe and Canada, but NOT in the United States...( I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, unfortunately, where music used to thrive) nobody around here knows who this guy is, listening to music like this requires sitting still for more than 2 seconds at a time, reflecting, and allowing the music to flow inside of you, you are supposed to be richer in character, replenished after hearing one of his live albums, but in California, we don't know how to be
"touched" by anything, I listen to all kinds of music, including heavy rock, but I understand the importance of having to detach every once in awhile, Americans in general in the last 30 or so years simply don't care about music like this, believe it or not they're actually somewhat embarrassed by it, if you can possibly imagine such a thing, lately I have been looking for a job where I can work by myself, because it really has become too difficult around here to work in the public sector, I want to be in a place where people enjoy music like this, and I suppose my three choices are heaven Canada and all over Europe...oh well

I grew up with this guys music & still growing up, i'm 52. A MegaStar for us as apart for a few songs he never got famous around the world as he deserved. Thx Chris & so glad that i saw you singing live in Nicosia Cyprus when i was 20🎸🎸👍🏼

I have loved his music since I was a pre-teen in the late 70's. Such a great singer, song writer and performer. I never get enough of bearing him. I listen to his music almost everyday as his voice really calms me. I wish I lived in Germany, so that I could go to more concerts. He puts on a great performance that is always from the heart.

I went to Chris De Burgh concert one time. He says, 'In a flash of light, the Lord appeared!' ( you all know the song Im talking about), As he said those lyrics a beam of sun came through a cloud and landed right on him, was quite amazing, the whole audience gasped. Good vibes that day.

Me encanta este cantante , lastima que no ha venido a Argentina mas no sea porque nacio aca aunque haya sido circunstancialmente. Ojala alguna vez se acuerde de ello y programe una visita a su pais natal que somos muchos los que amamos sus canciones y su manera de cantar. Tiene una hermosa voz y la manera de interpretar las canciones es una maravilla.
