Come and say hi if you see me. I have a workshop at 5pm going through getting more from a single oscillator and building the patch from scratch if you like that sort of thing.
Great walkaround. Captured this brilliant show perfectly. What an amazing group of people, getting together to share their passion. Loved it! Cheers. 😊
@@DivKidit was indeed I forgot to say, big thanks for that blank panel... I only realised what it was when I got my stuff out of the Synthfest bag on Sunday I have a Rack Brute 6U case so the DivKid blank panel fits perfectly over the gubbins to the side of the PSU connection cheers, andy
Nice one Andy, no worries. It's nice to hand those blank panels out (only to those that show some support really) as it's more substantial than a sticker. I know once there's a module needed the HP it will leave the case though, that's fine ... more cases tend to come!
A great follow up to your Machina Bristronica 'D' Tour, Divkid. I'm hoping to be at the next MB and was so impressed with it that I didn't expect much from this year's SynthfestUK, but ended up with it far exceeding my expectations. Thanks for immortalising the wife & the back of my greying head, while on my scooter, buying a dreadbox Hades from KMR. I guess you filmed after 5pm. Do you have any plans for a modular meet at the University of Huddersfield anytime soon? Best wishes.
funny, though not intentional it got more of a look than some other booths I was walking past. I did chat to them (their UK distributor) for a good while though.
It's funny that seems to be how it came across, the TE stand was the distributor who also brought SSL. I did speak to them at length about a few things actually including TE. This is far from the perfect walk around, it was a bit of an end of the day rush around.
This was a fun tour walkthrough thingy!
thanks, just aiming to show people the space and get a feel for the event. Among some people and gear spotting along the way.
Thanks for uploading this, going to the 2024 one.

@@DivKid I do like that sort of thing. 👍
Lovely. Saw you a few times, but there were so many people to chat to I missed you again to say hi. Great vid as always Ben :)
ah next time, feel free to say hello if you see me at anything but it's easy to just be passing ships at these things.

Good to see you there and thanks RE the video. We didn't get to chat again (I missed so many people, due to other conversation and some work bits).
@@DivKid It was very well-attended. I was talking to people all day, which was brilliant!
thanks for that Ben! 😀👍
good to chat at the event.

impressive! well diverse crowd
guess i don't exist
Sorry we didn't get a chance to chat like last year! Good to briefly see you tho'
Likewise, no service station meet up either!
Captures the spirit of the day very well. I intend to make a discreet Alfred Hitchcock style appearance in every one of your future videos then :-D
I'm filming today if you can come up and just pop into shot before I'm finished.
I've been there all day, sitting in the corner. Did you not see me...@@DivKid 🙂

When you start counting off all the faces you recognize from UA-cam in one UA-camr's casual video.
haha yeah I do think these make for good people spotting, as well as gear spotting.
Ey Man! :D Nick Batt is the ultimate npc.
haha! "ultimate NPC" can be added to his CV
*walks quietly away from Teenage Engineering booth* 😂

That Rides In The Storm voice might make for a good review, hint, hint...
hint hint taken, yeah I'd certainly like to and will speak to them in the future. Though it'll be a while as it's all busy here for a while.
I thought it'd've been busier.
it was a lot busier, I say in the video - I did this pretty much at closing time as I lost track of time but still wanting to film the walk about.
It was rammed during the day. To be fair to Ben, he'd have never got round during the height of the show without being stopped every five seconds!
I don't know why, but it seems so strange to see myself on bass
I remember seeing you filming as well, I think I was the last person in the building that wasn't either admin or packing up.
Likewise I was really late out among those packing up.
Wow that was kind of a jilted Ex with Teenage Engineering.
Looks, says nothing.
