Yes that is part of the reason, but if you look up LeBron James Sport Science 2013, they actually did their thing and LeBron actually has the same range (height + vertical leap) as a 7'3" Marc Gasol, and Lebron is only 6'8"
But wait theres more. Both have a great, finals mvp point guard, both have a clutch sg that can score, both have a sf that can't really shoot but plays defense, a pf that shoots 3s and a center whos a defensive shotblocker.

I Also use this cheese of scroing a lot and then forcing a double team but It has to be changed on 2k14. At some point it becomes so predictable. Maybe for starters they can tighten Up the defense and stop the double team (even if you score 20 of your team's first 21 points). Also they have to Make it possible to block dunks. I mean I love chris smoove,don't get me wrong, but apart from the poster dunks, everything else seems predictable.
Just saying Smoove, but just because you score at the end of the 3rd quarter doesn't mean you start with the ball in the 4th quarter. The order is decided by the tip. If you win the tip you start with ball at 1st and 4th. If you lose you get it at 2nd and 3rd. Like so he sees.
