Rebecca Kennedy that's amazing. thank you for existing!
Rebecca Kennedy LMFAO
Rebecca Kennedy that's exactly why he blocked me too oh my god hahaha
HE BLOCKS EVERYONE!! omg I've seen atleast 10 comments saying "Dr.Phil blocked me" especially when they call him daddy
I'll go to instagram right now, follow dr phill an call him daddy, I wanna be blocked now lol
its weird that you're talking about falling asleep to stuff because every night i fall asleep to jenna julien podcasts
Omg I thought I was the only one😱😂
Lexie Conus me rn
Lexie Conus me currently 😂
Lexie Conus so do i
OMG me too!!
I laughed SO HARD when Jenna didn't acknowledge juliens evanescence reference so he just kept going and when she still didn't acknowledge his he just let out this big exaggerated sigh and I'm just dying of laughter rn
Echelon Niamh what minute marker was that at?? I'm sad that I missed it!!
Melaina Midwest I'm not sure about the time stamp but they were talking about really loud apps that wake him up
Melaina Midwest give or take 11 mins in
Melaina Midwest it starts at 11:37
It KILLED me
Jersey shore is honestly the funniest shit ever. I became friends instantly with a girl in highschool because I heard her yell 'Raaaahn staaaap!" in the hallway. I yelled back "YOU TRAMATIZED ME RAAAHN" and it was friendship at first fight.
So are you guys still friends?
This comment section taught me that Dr. Phil apparently blocks anyone who calls him "Daddy" on Instagram. Next step- go call him daddy. Eey bby you want some blocking?
Nicole Amy hahaha i read that in julien voice eee bb
Poot Lovato Hahahaha, it sounded like Julien in my head when I typed it, so that's awesome. Hahaha. ❤
eee bb u want summmmmm... blocking??
i read it in jennas voice
DrPhil has me blocked on instagram lol
trickassbitch I would call that a victory. well done!
trickassbitch WHAT HOW
trickassbitch he has me blocked on Instagram too hahaha
what did you do, details pls
I made a drphiludaddy account and got blocked imm
LOL "there is a type of person that is ok with dealing with dead bodies" yeah, my family ran a funeral home for 160 years in brookline. us, we are those people.
kristenclg my dad owns his own grave digging business and my first job was at a funeral home from when I was 16-18 cleaning the home, dressing and making up the bodies, and sometimes even going on a body run. We are those people too 😂
This sounds so fascinating to me! Growing up in a funeral home, you're like those guys from Six Feet Under lol
I had to deal with the dead when I was a carer and it was honestly so fulfilling to care for that person even in death and lay them out for their family to say goodbye.
kristenclg I'm one of those people too! I love my Job
I'm currently studying to be a forensic anthropologist right now. I'm down with bones and shit but the fleshy dead bodies still get me sometimes 😂
"Rain drop
Drop top
Ron stop"
HAHAHAAHHAAHA
"Rain drop. Drop top. Ron stop." OMG XD
"I think he just might like to eat corn and play golf." 😂😂
Jenna, have you seen the episode of Dr. Phil where the girl says she is pregnant with Jesus?
Omgggg 😂 I remember that
Dusty Frost OH MY GOSH I LOVE THAT EPISODE. 😂😂😂
Oh and this same girl also believes she is Eminem's daughter
+Dusty Frost She was so determined to convince everyone it was true XD that whole episode was wild
When she didn't know how to reply when they actually questioned her as to why she thought that... she gave them the "hmmmmm" face
I have a job where I literally do nothing for 6 hours, alone. I watch 6 podcasts of yours and I'm done with my job. Thank you guys for making it bearable
I want your job lol
WHAT IS UR JOB
Sarah Bear op what’s ur job I desperately need to know
We're waiting for a reply
We’re still waiting for you to tell us what your job is four years later
My respect for Julien just went through the roof. So many people call us Ambulance Drivers, instead of realizing how offensive that is. We do so much more than just drive and for him to call it a Paramedic Truck, that's really refreshing :)
Damn that sucks, I thought it was normal to call y’all paramedics
You have one of the hardest and most necessary jobs out there. I'm so sorry for thise who disrespect you, but thankyou for doing such a wonderful job.
Im so sorry that people disrespect you guys, thank you so much for doing your job and being brave enough to help others 💕
Ellen people don’t even realize how important the isolated driving part is. Of course it isn’t just like driving but no one credits the fact that the equipment & all the paramedics are safely there
Ellen thank you for your work it’s so important and you’re appreciated
Can't believe Jenna totally ignored Julien singing Evanescence 😂
My mother was a paramedic and she had some really trippy stuff happen with dead bodies like them groaning when she had to transport them up the elevator. She has also had some messed up calls like when a woman was hit by a train and each body part was 100s of feet away. Some really cool stuff happens too though, for example a little very very sick boy (aged 3) had heart problems. His dad called the ambulance about once a week and this time my mom was on shift. The boy was really having trouble so they intubated him in the ambulance and the dad got to ride with him in the back. The boy's heart rate started to drop and the father put his hand on his son's chest and his heart rate went back up. When he took his hand off it started to go back down again so my mom asked if he could leave his hand on the boy, when he did the boy's heart rate became more normal again. My mom never saw the boy again but this was one of the few calls that have struck her like that.
Mammoth's Art Channel I know this is a year old but my dad was an EMT and he had a call where a man had a heart attack or something but when he responded he walked in to see the guy clinging to life groaning in pain and the guy’s dog was eating his arm
@@baboo3507 :(
RAAAAHHHNNNNN STAAAAHHHHPPPPPPPPP!!
Mandy Denise I legit said this out loud and laughed so hard.
I love how the dink fam types things in Jenna and Julien's voices like "eey bb? You want summmm... podcast?"
And Jenna with the "BOOOIIII" and the pointing with her whole hand.
Love you, fellow dink fam!
One of my favorite podcasts ever! 😂
Ok I was like dying laughing after Jenna like scream laughing and you both loosing it and then I look back and Juliens drinking water from like a fucking tank, omg I literally love you guys so much
I agree with Julian about what he said about embalmers not being freaked out around dead people naturally. My Dad is a Mortician, and they are not called embalmers (embalming is what they do but not everything that goes on so they are Morticians), but even as a kid (like 5th grade maybe even younger) he had to pick what job he wanted to do when he was older for an school assignment, and he wanted to be a Mortician. I know it's really fucking weird I don't get it. But some people are just born like that. And even me and all my sibling are really desensitized to talking about, cutting heads open, cutting people open, almost starting a grease fire because someone put an over weight person in the cremater that was really hot (for a fat person you need to put them in cold and let it heat slowing, so they can melt basically). But even though I can talk about all of it, seeing it is a lot worse. My dad works at a medical school too, and when I was there one time he asked if I wanted to go into the room where they had all the bodies ready to be transported. And it's fucking weird to walk into a room and see over 25 dead people on tables and in bags and boxes(all of them where in bags so I couldn't see there faces). And my dad wales over to a metal cabinet and opens it and there is just body parts in there...and he pulled out a head in a clear plastic bag. It wasn't that bad to me because I looked like a mummy. But it was all really weird
Genevieve Pavlak this comment will probably haunt me for the rest of my life
Jane Reznickova was it my Dad wanted to be a mortician when he was ten, the grease fire from the fat person, 25 dead people in a room, or the head in a bag?
The grease fire.... and melting bodies of dead fat people
Jane Reznickova funny part is that I know even weirder/gross stories from my dads work. But I do have funny ones when people get to grosses out.
I'm so incredibly fascinated (and somewhat grossed out). Please share more if you are inclined. The head in the cabinet is what weirds me out the most. I work at a vet so I'm used to preparing dead pets for transport but humans is a different story. I couldn't work with humans.
Dr Phil and Nickelodeon blocked me on Instagram the same day
Hahahaha what did you do??
fatma tas please tell us what you did to get blocked by them
hard work and dedication, kids
elaborate
spiriteater I would but I'm not ready to admit to all of the one hundred lewd comments left on their profiles that led me to get blocked by both of them
Julien's hydroflask gets bigger and bigger every week
plot twist: Jenna actually watches Dr Phil bc she's keeping tabs on him lol
Jenna: I have a love hate relationship with Dr Phil
Dr Phil: cash me ousside howbow dah
i laughed so hard i couldnt fucking breathe omfg HAHAHAHAH
No One lmfao
No One I was looking for this comment
No One what does that phrase mean? I watched the episode with woman who said it and I don't understand
samlila678 it means come outside so we can fight.
please never stop making these podcasts
😢😭😢
I wish☹️
I've become one of those "liked it before I even started watching it" people. #noshame tho
sameee
I lost it when Julien said Jenna's poop is cute.
Every experience I've had with paramedics like they're always so calm. No matter what's happening or the shape of the person they're caring for. Sometimes they even like try to make you laugh because they know you're really scared. It's amazing what they do.
My step sissy did EMT for years and they are so underpaid for the situations they encounter! McDonald's employees make more than most of those angels.
This one was hilarious.
Sammi's "RON STOP!" is Jenna's "JULIENNNUHHH"
I like how no one noticed when Julien said rain drop drop top Ron stop🤣🤣
Julien looks great for 96
Part of the reason I love watching these podcasts is so Julien can make those bomb ass segways midway through the podcast. I never see them coming and it blows my mind each time hahaha
Jenna, sign up for lift and drive for a Wednesday video. Keep the money to spend on iggys or even donate idk
Dasha Gubarev carpool karaoke with Jenna marbles and strangers
omg yes
Dr. Phil is my guilty pleasure. lmao.
I used to watch him a lot when I was younger. I was going through a rough time in my life, and watching his show helped me out a lot. He had guests on that I could relate too, and the advice he gave them was applicable to my own life. He has a very masculine "dad" approach to helping people on his show. It's very no bullshit, tough love, realistic, etc.
I've always agreed with his core messages. "Don't involve children in adult problems, don't give people the benefit of the doubt when they haven't earned it, don't fight to be "right" in a situation, etc."
His wife Robin is there for every show because she wants to support him. (I think they have a really good marriage based off of what I've watched/read. Dr. P got his vasectomy reversed for her, because they wanted to have more children.) She also runs a domestic abuse based charity, and will often help women out who come on the show. Pretty much any time there is a domestic abuse episode she will be with the guests in the dressing room to help with moral support, etc. Robin does a lot for the show other than just sitting there.
Things I don't like about the show is that it does seem like "tragedy porn" at times, some episodes are kinda bullshit, they don't always talk about LGBT + issues in the best light, they bring religion into the conversation too much sometimes, etc. Granted. I haven't watched the show in like 3 years, so this opinion is based off of what I remember.
I can't believe they left a note at your house Jenna. That's too much.
but i want to know why dr. phil wanted jenna on the show
Kelsey Eliz D-D-D-Do you think its cool to smoke pot
Me too like why? was it to get him ratings? what was he to complain about?
My dad got malaria twice while working in Africa. Tablets do not get rid of it lol it's much more complicated
Hope O'Connor yeah I thought the tablets were preventative?
Hope O'Connor My dad has malaria, and it's something that isn't curable. You can take medication to make yourself feel better but it won't go away
Hope O'Connor i read "my dad got melania twice while working in Africa". I was like "oookay?" haha
oablythe you can cure it if it's treated earlier enough.
I have a good friend who lost her dad at age 16 and is now a mortician. I didn't understand it either, but she describes it exactly as Jenna did. It is the last nice thing you can do for someone before they're laid to rest and it is a service to help the family grieve. After that I understood the mindset much more.
I had a teacher who was a EMT and she got called in the middle of the night to an accident and it ended up being her daughter and her friends...I couldn't imagine.
Karissa Bohme :o awful
Karissa Bohme were they okay??
yes, she was fine :) but im sure it was very scary on both ends! love my fellow dink fam members
I love how Jenna just speaks her mind in this podcast and I totally agree with her 😂
I love Jenna's intense laughter when they got Ron and Sammi....I nearly peed myself
okay maybe they might not be exactly like Ron/Sam but Sam's RAHN STAHP = Jenna's JULEEYEN!!!
That was so cute and funny when Julien started describing Jenna's poos and he made that little hand gesture 🤣🤣🤣 Jenna screaming "Nooooooo"
I came here for blond hair, Julien, now we have ourselves a situation.
wadooshful right?? he hIDES IT
it blends into the green screen, ive noticed it a few times
Julian's segues to the sponsors KILL me. I was laughing so hard at his "you know what doesn't suck, driving for lyft".
The title of this is so random but IM READY TO DINK IT OUT
Happy to see Julien staying hydrated with that whole fucking bucket of water
someone really needs to make a compilation of Jenna dying and Julien's ad segways. EVERY TIME :D:D:D
Maya Daskalova there is a compilation of his fire segways tho
I'M SO READY FOR THIS
and so damn tempted to rewatch Jersey Shore damn it
Elyssae same.
I'm honestly so happy I binge watched Jersey shore last year. Now I'm prepared 😂😂😂
Why does Jenna sound exactly like Sammi 😂😂😂😂 omfg I'm dead.
Dr Phil isn't even really a licensed doctor! Don't get me started on that man.
MB yes he is😂
shipjillian Dr. Phil is a Doctor. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology. Dr. Phil is not a psychologist. He is not licensed as a psychologist.Jan 29, 2008
MB If he has a Doctorates degree, he technically is addressed as a doctor.
Priscilla You're missing the point. My statement is correct; he is not licensed as a psychologist and arguably presents himself as such on television.
No, he doesn't! He presents himself as a doctor because HE IS A DOCTOR. A Ph. D makes you a doctor!
The conversation about the funeral home/dead bodies reminds me of the graphic autobiographical novel 'Fun Home'. The girl in the book grows up with a dad who was the person that deals with the corpses, and she explains how that affected her as a child (obviously she was traumatized by it). I had to read it last semester in Uni.
Do you recommend the book?
medallo143 I do, it's an interesting read. I don't normally enjoy graphic novels/comic books (other than The Walking Dead), but this book was really good!
Natalie Mary is it like horror ?
Poot Lovato Not really, it is for an older audience though due to the fact that there's some pretty serious topics, nudity etc. It also majorly discusses being gay, and being raised in a household in which the parents did not support that. It was an interesting read!
Natalie Mary hmm interesting im gonna have to check it out
When you think your S/O's poop is "cute"? That's love, man.
Hope everyone is having a nice day love you dink fam
I like the new addition to the show, that little yellow guy. What's his name?
rydenkills I don't know but he's all up in my perifferal vision and he's pissin me off
rydenkills I keep picturing it with little minion eyeballs and glasses and teeny tiny overalls. now I can't unsee it. its totally steve
rydenkills I like lost it when julien started drinking from it like I was laughing over Jenna's like scream laughing and their impressions and then I look back and julien was like drinking out of that fricking tank
My mom is actually an embalmer- it runs in the family, I basically grew up in a funeral home. I asked her once, "Do you love your job?" She replied, "I love the service I can give to grieving families to help with the pain of losing someone." She's a badass, she's been in the business for 30+ years and women today are still seen as less than men in the profession. Love ya J&J!
Can't believe Danny's cool with you guys podcasting right outside the shore store, tite.
My father in law was a paramedic for a couple of years. He finally quit because it became too much. He's been a huge proponent for things like seatbelts and vaccines ever since. He was there when a little boy died because his parents refused to vaccinate, etc.
THE MARBLES SNARL KILLS ME
nnnyanyanyanya
my childhood neighbor works at a morg and does the embalming and all that. he got into it super randomly. he was just working at a funeral home doing custodial work and became friends with the owner and they paid him to go to school for that stuff, and now he gets paid A BOAT LOAD OF MONEY handling dead bodies. he said it doesn't bother him, he said he feels like a good final deed for the deceased, he takes it seriously and highly respect the person he is working on. just helping them cross over to their next journey
best part of mondays!!! love you guys
Ya know what... I LOVE this Podcast, just love it.
My favourite part though? Juliens total FIRE Segue, and Jenna's overreactions to them every single time. Never fails to make me smile.
Why did Dr. Phil want Jenna on his show? 🤔
Julien's right about morticians and embalming, some people, myself included, are just okay with being around those types of things. Although you can train yourself to become de-sensitized, there are people whom it comes naturally too. I personally view it as an art form much like Shan does with taxidermy and dead animals. It isn't the dead you're serving, its the surviving family members so as a mortician, my goal is to present the deceased family member in the most life-like state as possible so they can have closure and a feel like they've had a proper goodbye. Although it is a gnarly process, the outcome puts things into perspective.
It is illegal for anyone other than the post man/woman to leave anything in your mailbox. (I think im not 100% sure)
Eleanor Schugel I don't think it's illegal to put something in (because busnisses do that all the time) but it is definitely illegal to take stuff out besides you or your mailman/woman
Eleanor Schugel yes it is
+Brynn Carter YOU GOING TO JAIL BOIII
Uh oh. My mail man accidentally put my neighbor's mail in my mailbox so I went across the street and put it in their mailbox. I'm going to jail 😧
When I was about 6 I wanted to be a mail person. I would ride on my tricycle and open and close mailboxes in my neighborhood. I didn’t take any mail and I didn’t put anything in. It was just pretend. Some neighbor ratted me put to my mom and I got in trouble lol.
Julien's sponsor segues and Jenna's reactions to them are the best.
this video has come at such an opportune time in my life bc i just finished the first two seasons of jersey shore bc, and i too feel strongly against dr. phil as well. he's not even a fucking doctor, how has he developed the trust of millions? Is he even qualified to tell me to stop smoking crack bc it's "hurting" my family?
I was just refreshing, hoping for this! Dink dink!
I am currently an embalmer, although the funeral business did not run in my family, it almost felt as a calling to help others in a time of need. I knew it was something I could handle and had to use that to help families in a time of need. I treat everyone person the same way I would want my loved ones to be treated.
That evanescence reference julien 😹
"RAIN DROP
DROP TOP
RON STOP"
I FUCKING CRIED OHNYMGOD
LIVINGGGGGG for Jenna's Sammie impressions!!!
Damn you JJ. I'm watching Jersey Shore again and telling everyone in my life to "RON STAHHHHP!"
I've rewatched jersey shore so fucking much I literally know ALL the lines. Not even kidding. 😆👌🏼
Dynasexo same
Dynasexo go home you don't belong here. YOU DONT EVEN LOOK ITALIAN! best line ever
PLEASE live stream yourselves watching jersey shore I'm crryyyying when Julian got Angelina I have never laughed that loud at a podcast
Super late but for anyone curious on the Porta Potties...
Porta Potties are cleaned by inserting a hose into the actual toilet which will suck the waste up into a metal tank (which is part of the truck). The employee will then take a bucket with a sanitary solution and water mix and scrub down the walls, toilet seat and door with a mop. He/she will then refill the paper dispensers and add a new urinal cake tablet and after that the Porta Potty is filled with water and a Blue Tablet (sanitary solution that makes the water blue) is dropped into the toilet. The waste in the tank gets disposed of at a large water waste plant where it will get properly treated and disposed of. Its actually not that dirty of a job if you take the right precautions (gloves, face mask, suits, boots etc). I install septic tanks so I see this stuff pretty often on construction sites lol.
What if a president got elected and wasn't married. Like the First Lady wasn't a thing because he was a bachelor and livin his life. I don't think that's ever happened in the history of presidents.
Shelby Nicole Duarte Neither has a female president, it’s pretty weird how we re-elect the same type of person
Buchanan
Some speculate it was because he was gay but he was the only unmarried president. I believe there were also presidents who weren’t married at the time but were married previously. Not sure on that one.
I just finished rewatching all the jersey shore seasons the other day! It was wonderful.
Jenna trying to flirt: "Yooooou got a donk donk!"
One of my high school teachers was a paramedic and he told us a lot of terrible stories while he was on the job. One that stuck out to me was when a man's foot came off in his hands
this is not relevant to this week's episode (which I unfortunately can't watch at the moment), but with all of the recent rhetoric going around about UA-camrs being unhappy, I just wanted to say that I hope you guys are happy and okay. you deserve all the happiness in the world for how happy you make your subscribers. sorry to get sappy, and I'm sorry if this comes across as annoying or cringey, but you guys mean the world to me and I truly do care about you. that's all, have a great week☺️💛
Omg Jenna the same thing happens to me. When I'm super nervous the feeling in my arms and hands go, and if it's bad enough, they almost become paralyzed and stuck in a weird position. It's so strange and I've never heard anyone talk about it before
"I've seen your poop" lmao
congratulations on the podcast (and your individual channels) being nominated for a Shorty Award! you guys are incredible, and the podcast has come so far. couldn't be prouder of both of you!
you always make my mondays 10 times better
*pulls mic closer to face* "Imagine it crusty...imagine it" 😂😂
still waiting for the day I'm gonna see a thumbnail of 2 floating heads against the green screen
Jenna I feel the whole lose feeling in arms and legs when scared thing!! Happens to me every time I get scared!
YOU SHOULD DO A DR.PHIL FAN FICTION PODCAST
"Hey beebee, send me ur dog" I fucking lost it
can you play grand theft auto 5 on the stream?
Tulip Lozano omg please yes!❤️
I've never seen an episode of Jersey Shore, and haven't seen Dr Phil since he was on Oprah back in the day. Still entertained by this podcast though :)
HAHAHAHAH I LOVE THAT THEY GOT RONNIE AND SAM
Didn’t expect playing which jersey shore member are you quizzes with Jenna and Julien to be on my 2024 bingo but here we are
I could see julien being a paramedic
In my major I have worked with dead bodies. However they didn't have skin or hair or anything and that made it so much easier. Once I saw their painted nails or something, it made it hard to be around them
I live for Julien's promo plug transitions!
Don't know if I mentioned this already but I bought some MeUndies bc of y'all and they are AMAZING!! I didn't even know what quality underwear felt like before those. Julien's not lying when he says they're 3 times softer than cotton. Bless MeUndies
Duuuuuude. I started rewatching JS a couple months ago....IT'S SO GOOOOD! I'm rewatching it AGAIN now bc of you guys lol I can't STAHHHHP
Lmfao "First Dad" 😂
My dads a restoration technician that specializes in trauma which is basically a "crime scene cleaner" and he loves his job and honestly I do think that along with morticians and stuff it does really desensitize people including me to a certain extent (I've got a lot of stories oh my)
The worst job I ever had was at a salmon farming factory back when I was a student.. man that shit sucked on so many levels. But, it makes you, for the rest of your life, respect those who do work in these places, for years and years as a providing job. Even if I became a billionaire in my current job, I will always always respect the working man. Cheers.
