A memorial stone with an inscription about the veterans of the free fatherland is shown, and the years are 1939-1945. As far as I remember, Finland was an ally of Hitler's Germany during these years. A very ambiguous inscription.

In the winter war 1939-1940 Finland fought alone. After that it is a different story.
