So what's the difference between conspiracy and preparatory to commit a criminal offence?
A conspiracy is an act where two or more people make an agreement, with the specific intent, to commit a crime and there must be an overt act, an overt act is when one commits an act that goes beyond the agreement. In regards to attempt, when a defendant happens to go beyond "preparatory" to commit a crime into perpetration, the defendant could be liable for attempt. Ex: Jackie Chan shoots his pistol at Will Smith, but the bullet misses. That is an example of attempted murder because Jackie Chan prepared to commit the act of murder and he went beyond preparation into perpetration when he shot the pistol at Will Smith. (remember that conspiracy and attempt are specific intent crimes).

I would recommend that you slightly change your tone and inflection on future videos because to me, it sounds like you're trying to explain it to a child or someone who you've tried explaining this to before that continually doesn't get it. You almost sound annoyed and like you're dumbing down the curriculum and being condescending. It's like when you're trying to explain to a child why 2+2=4 and you're like, "twooooooo plus twooooo equaaaaals.....fourrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr becaaaaaaaaaaaaaaause fourrrrrrrrrrrrrr is made up of twoooooooooo and twoooooooooo." and the kid is like, "I still don't get it...." and you shake your head. This is exactly the tone I am getting from you right now, lol.
