After hearing Mac Miller passed, I was destroyed as he was my favorite artist at the time. “Good News” was the lead single of Circles and dropped at the beginning of 2020. And man, when I listened to it, I don’t think music has ever made me cry more. Mac Miller left such an impact over the years and seeing people jump into his catalog is such a treat to watch. Love the channel guys, keep making more!!!!
It’s so hard to try to imagine what he could have made, and what a life he would have lived. He seemed like such a kind soul with a musical gift. He is not the best lyricist in the world in terms of hard hitting punchlines. But he might be the best I’ve ever heard based on making simple sentences seem so complex and thoughtful
This album has a deluxe version with two more songs titled "Right' and "Floating, both are incredible and are in my top 5 on the album. Definitely give them a listen! Great vibes and great video!

Circles was supposed to be the follow up to the last album he dropped before he passed away, called Swimming. Together they were supposed to be a duo “Swimming in Circles”. Definitely worth a listen! Not as soft as this album but personally Swimming is my favourite Mac Miller album ever.
Beautiful album! I always get emotional when listening to this. We were the same age and I grew up watching him grow as an artist. Once he passed away I felt like my youth years were officially over. I was 26 years old and it felt like I lost a very good friend. Happy that his music lives on! RIP

Also if you’d like to stray more towards the traditional hip hop side of things I’d check out some Griselda or something produced by The Alchemist, they both take traditional hip hop in a very interesting direction.

The observation that the intro track almost sounds like an outro, well it is if you're playing these albums in succession and on repeat
I first heard mac in middle school and really liked the music he had then with Nikes on my feet and best day ever but starting high school I started actually following music I liked and at the time it was more like stoner music then trap music so Mac just kinda got left behind and then I went thru a phase of only listening to underground music so I never heard mac again until he passed which still kills me today bcuz I feel like a fake fan I really wish I never stopped hearing him but I do now listen to him everyday
I think he left something better than a legacy. He made music that will stand the test of time. I don’t think his music will ever get old or forgotten. It will sound relevant in 20 years.
