Seeing myles in medofrd with apes of the state really made a mark on me in the most wonderful of ways. I always felt strong with folk punk and emo/metal/etc. but also poetry, slam poetry, and spoken word too.. like plenty of George Watsky's stuff, Hobo Johnson, and now you Myles. My mamadukes came with me to that show, and seeing the honesty and raw nature of the self reflection of recorvery and mental health, it made an impact to her too. She saw all of this sad story with me, and while i may not be on stage for adoring fans, she mentioned the self love she sees through the words and to someone re-finding their world, like i had to, was a real special thing.
Hope that makss sense. Cant wait to see you in new haven. Even if you never see this, know i aap ree cii ate you. And everythjng you do for the recorvery world out here too. Much love.
