Admittedly, I initially thought it was a very dirty play. However, watching the replay slowly a few times it does appear that Stone may have been diving for the puck. With his history as such a dirty player, it's easy to jump that direction when he injures someone.
Everyone saying he should have stopped, obviously has never skated and ended up off balance when someone hits your skate. His trying to turn and looses his edge because of a stick in his skate, it’s unfortunate but that’s what happens in contact sports
“In the 0.5 seconds of getting tripped you should have instantly made the right decision” God what a dumb take lol. How about Hintz doesn’t trip stone there???
Definitely knock on wood....If anything, he has been overworked just like last year and this will give him some rest time. Let's hope that's all it is.
The Mark Stone chose to make a reckless and irresponsible play. A diving poke check in that situation when he's beat that badly already is a risky play, the trip just puts it over the top.
You can call half the game any team plays reckless. No doubt Hintz's trip ads to it. Full speed, maybe Stone could roll to the side but split second timing roll?...fantasy state that every hit that is questionable is 100% avoidable. It's nowhere in the league of the skull hunting Rempe engaged in that is certain.
No way it wasn't intentional. Even being tripped up a little bit, he dove into his knee against the natural way he'd have fallen with a trip. Worst win I've seen since I started watching in 95. To allow your best dman to get taken out and the dude laughing on the bench, with 0 response, f'king weak. This is why Dallas can't win a Cup. They're too f'ing soft.
Mark Stone is a master of the dark arts

It looks like Stone was tripped by Roope and Stone's speed and momentum carried him into Miro. Unfortunate, but not a dirty play on Stone's part.

Stone is a known flopper, and had every intention in taking out Miro. Can’t wait until Benn teaches him a lesson next meeting.
FMS.

Maybe not intentional but definitely avoidable. That's not what the game needs.
Yeah Hintz shouldn’t have tripped Stone. Unfortunately he did
