TIP: If you made the farm longer and aren’t getting all of the melons in your chest I recommend you remove some blocks under the normal rails and replace them with more hoppers. (Make sure you add the hopper 1 block away from your redstone torches because hoppers don’t work when they are powered!)
Would be beneficial to have the hopper at one end of the minecart track and a comparator set up to disable the minecart while it empties out. Depends on how fast they grow the minecart is gonna eventually fill up and lower efficiency

Pretty sure it’s 7 x 7 which means that to get all the crops watered you need to have one water source in all the featured places.

It might be moving too fast, I had that on my sheep farm. I added 5 hoppers in a row and it worked

Got it, much appreciated! I actually made a 7×7 version of this so 4 hoppers going into the middle hopper that goes into the chest should be enough.

i think its works for java
it does but the java farm is slightly different as it has a light source block in the center as well as a waterlogged slab
