      Thank you for the support! This was recorded in December and January :). Oct is going to be great! You’ll find a slower paced Puerto Vallarta that is still ever so charming

    Have been to Pipi's twice. Good food, but for me too Americanize! Will try some of your suggestions next time I'm there. Thanks!

      When Mariachis come in to play, Sweet Caroline is always the first few songs that are played 😖 funny that you mentioned it’s too Americanized. We still think Pipi’s has one of the best guac and margaritas in town.

    Hello, love your channel. Thanks for all your great feedback on P.V. Do you know if most restaurants accept American dollars?? Thanks again.

      Thank you for the kind words! We always pay with Mexico pesos or CC. It’s actually really easy to withdraw money from the ATM using your debit card. If you need help on which ATM to go, let us know!

      Lolol. I don’t blame you. We felt the same way singing sweet Caroline in Mexico at a Mexican restaurant. Can’t get more American than that 😂

    Hello this video was amazing!! I am torn between getting all inclusive to be safe or just the room and eat out all the time. We are staying in villa premiere boutique hotel, do we have to make reservations to eat ahead of time if we decide to try all these restaurants?

    • @Wakingupwiththewangs
      @Wakingupwiththewangs  Рік тому +1

      Thanks so much! What a nice comment! From our experience, you definitely don’t need a reservation at any of these restaurants. However, our other Puerto Vallarta video “5 Unique Restaurants in PV” we def recommend making a reservation. (Especially if you plan to go to la cappella restaurant and want to sit during sunset - we definitely recommend this!). You will definitely have a much better experience if you opt out of all inclusive and go out to eat in our opinion!

    So excited to see this vlog. The energy with which you share food is educational. I really would like to emulate a little of your approach here. Subed to see more and keep in touch. As a food anthropologist, I love to watch and support those people who promote local cuisine. I am trying to learn to better present culture through food. I look forward to seeing more food content from you and hope to someday make great food content that you will love too. - Bear

    But is it safe there? Mexico getting bad exposure recently?

    • @Wakingupwiththewangs
      @Wakingupwiththewangs  Рік тому

      We’ve always felt safe in Puerto Vallarta either be walking around at night or taking Ubers though out town. But regardless of where you go, always be alert of your surroundings! Don’t let the news scare you. PV is a beautiful and safe city.

    Great video and suggestions! Fyi... The word "cocina" is co-see-na. The way you were saying was "cochina" which means filthy (feminine).

    • @Wakingupwiththewangs
      @Wakingupwiththewangs  Рік тому

      Thank you so much for the correction! 😅 definitely don’t want to call it filthy, it was the complete opposite of that!
