- Today i'm making and decorating a gorgeous little Folio made from one sheet of 12 x 12 Scrapbook paper, without any measuring or scoring. I'll be showing you a method that will work every time and yet be different every time.
It has lots of pockets and is made from one sheet of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper.
TheThe Folio uses one 12 x 12 sheet with no waste and i used more left over scraps from the Stamperia Rose Parfum collection to decorate it.
I'll be showing you how i make it from start to finish in a complete step by step tutorial.

Woman, you are just so adorable and charming to listen to! Makes me chuckle with your very real making it up as you go, talking to us like you're talking to yourself. Loved it! IMy wallet would get in such trouble with those gorgeous rose and peony papers. They are my favorite flowers! So pretty!
Oh my stars! Thank you for not editing out the boo boos…..I do that stuff all the time and you make me feel better about it……. Yesterday I had the eyelet washers on both sides of the eyelet as well…my family laughs at me all the time because I lose stuff jsu as soon as I put it down …..”hey ma! Did you put it somewhere safe? Hahahahah”. Mmmph!
Hi Karen, you're welcome love. I hate editing and prefer a real reality show feel, boo boos and all, even the video ends up twice as long as i planned😅 I don't stop talking enough to be able to edit much anuway😁

I love the ease of adapting this project depending on the design on the paper! I talk to inanimate objects too! "You stay there" to the paper rounder Ha! Beautiful work as usual
I'm only 7 minutes in and already I'm getting the smiles watching you work your magic! I've so enjoyed watching this video! The craft is beautiful, but I've just been thinking tonight as I've listened, that your dialect and inflections are the closest to my dad and English Aunties, that I've heard since he died, and the words that you use, like skissors and daft and so many others, were so familiar. He was born in Bradford, Yorkshire. I don't think that its something that I thought much about being raised in the US, that when he was gone, we'd no longer have his English accent in our family. As I sit here with tears in my eye's, it has brought back lovely memories of the English dales, my dad, and my Aunties, who are all gone now. Thank You!
As usual I learned something new from you Julie. How to make the sides of a punched border symmetrical and how not to make baggy pockets. Thank you! I also learned how to make my craft tools behave.....Corner rounder "You sit there", "Stand up glue", "Go away blue trim.". Also as usual...I have now bought more Stamperia 12x12. I once said she was a bad influence on me and she replied "I take full responsibility.". No shame in her game. LOL

This is a very helpful video. I have the two paper pads you mention, and have been wrestling with the best way to use the pages with the very large design. Now I understand that I actually like those pages better after seeing how you cut and folded them. Very, very beautiful!

I absolutely love this. Beautiful. (Those stickers, I put a little piece of masking tape on the corner of the face, then, with the backing facing me, I can peel the corner back. The masking tape, carefully removed, hasn’t hurt any of the sticker faces. Just fyi). Cheers 🇨🇦
Thank you so much love ☺️those stickers are faulty, they are laser cut and the glue has fused around the edge of the backing on some of them. I stil love them though😅🤗💜

What a great project, easy, love it. As far as the punch, I noticed when you turned it over, the cover holding the punched out bits in, was full, can be part of the reason why you were having a hard time punching, so thought I'd throw that out there 🤔💜💜💜

YOU'RE the one!! Ah HA!! LOL, I knew someone I watch had a T ruler, but for the life of me I couldn't remember who it was!! Ah Julie! Yeah, so I wanted to purchase a T ruler yesterday because I can't tell straight from crooked either! 🤷 The one local store I thought would have one, didn't. Such sad! I'll find one 'tho - I really think my work would benefit!

You mentioned my weather last week, wanting to switch mine for your rain. Twice a year, in between desert summers and sometimes snowy winters, we have a few weeks of absolute perfection, and that's where we are now. It's gorgeous! I search in the early evenings for projects just to keep myself working outside! Enjoying the weather has made me think of you and your rain. Is it over? How about your friends who were in danger of being evacuated? I was with you there in prayer!! Being evacuated - ugh - I can't even imagine what that'd be like.

Fortunately our friends house didn't flood and they didn't have to evacuate, although they were stranded for a few days as the roads around them were flooded. My house is so clean and tidy now though😘

Lovely to see you Julie. I’ve just managed to comment on the wrong video (daft bat). Anyhow, fabulous folio as always, love your make it up as you go along methods. You made me smile as usual, I look out every day for your videos but in the meantime I’m rewatching some of your older stuff. I'm so happy your youngest daughter had a great time at camp. Hopefully this is a camp she can go to again next year. Thanks for another amazing project. I'm really loving stand alone folios lately. I made my sister one with a gift card, tag, and a mini notepad. I made the pockets a bit loose so i added a pack of her favorite tea. Thank you for telling us if you use the bone folder first it would do that, i was wondering why it does sometimes and not other times.

Julie, I love your tips for straightening things, folding and just ways to make things easier. I have found all corners in my life to be offensive in my life. I have OCD so I’ve begun sanding down my furniture corners. 😂 LOL a silly though that ran through my mind, I hope you got a giggle.😊
