I got a different Divan bed that only takes one of those screws not two, also I had to lay the headboard on the Divan Base as the struts are short

Can you fix a king-size headboard to a double bed are the wooden fixing in the same place so you would just get extra either side?

Hi Tina, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. With a Kingsize headboard the distance between the struts will be different so it won't fit any pre-drilled holes in the back of the divan. You should be able to drill your own holes to make it fit but it may effect your warranty on the base if you've made any changes to it.

Cnt do it my head board wooden bits are not attached too headboard and now struggling to put it up and keeps falling down and people who delivered it wouldn't help put it up now no were too sleep.

Hi Suzanne, there should be some small pre drilled holes in the end of the divan base. Normally highlighted with stickers but sometimes you have to feel along the material for the small indentations. When you've found it, you pierce the material and can screw your headboard bolts in like in this video - ua-cam.com/video/SfsU6k9Wl40/v-deo.html
If the base has drawers, take the drawers out and look inside, you should be able to see them. It's very unusual for them not to be there but if they aren't I would contact the retailer you purchased the base from. Hope this helps!

Hi Scott, You can sometimes get a bit of creaking in the structure of your base. I would consult the retailer, alternatively we have some divan bases you could have a look at here; www.mrmattress.co.uk/divan_bases
You could also look at getting a bedstead for your mattress rather than a divan base. We have a really nice range of fabric bases; www.mrmattress.co.uk/upholstered_beds

Hi Elese, The struts should be attached to the headboard. I would contact the retailer you bought the headboard from to see if they can help you as they need to be measured exactly to fit the bed base.

A good trick assuming you've put your bed against a wall, is to get some thick material to wedge between the bottom of the struts and the wall, using folded old clothes or blanket can work
