These guys were the worlds best VH tribute band before Steel Panther "The Atomic Punks" I always remember reading an interview back in the early 00's where DLR seen them live and he said "That singer is more DLR than me" Great band.
I love these guys. They are all very talented musicians but they don't give a shit about that part. Day in day out they get up there and make fun of themselves and every other wound to tight band. Talk about creative. There is NOBODY out there doing what these guys do. Its just great stuff. Smart and fresh.
Indeed he does, big time!! The beginnings of Steel Panther were when Satchel and Michael Starr were in a Van Halen tribute band out in LA called Atomic Punks
@@nightstalker2217 Curious... Did you ever get the chance to see VH live back in the early to mid 80's??? The "Women and Children First" and "Fair Warning" tours can't be beat, David Lee Roth was superb to see then, even on the "1984" tour he was great. No way were they just a studio band then.
A Blast definitely!! Erm I heard Mr. Joe Satriany is doing a Van Halen tribute tour. Maybe he should invite Michael Starr since he would suit perfectly for this new project who knows🤘🏼
Too bad they could not have done this cover on the second round of AGT. That might have blew everyone away more than butchered lyrics of Death to all but Metal.
That signature David Lee Roth scream is hard to pull of! Dude does it all day long
michael star does a better dave lee roth than dave lee roth now
Just watched him do Ozzy better than Ozzy as well.
Or ever...Michael remembers the lyrics
I don't know about that ,
NO WAY MAN
🤘😆‼
Michael does a better...fill in the blank. He’s better than Ozzy, Vince Neil, David lee Roth,...any of them.
Ya
Anyone not gonna talk about how Michael sounded exactly like David Lee Roth in the quiet part?!?
No he didn't. He sounded significantly better
Holy SHIT
These guys were the worlds best VH tribute band before Steel Panther "The Atomic Punks"
I always remember reading an interview back in the early 00's where DLR seen them live and he said "That singer is more DLR than me"
Great band.
Any singer is more than DLR theses days..
guitar player more flash than gas
Wow, best cover of Panama! Awesome! RIP EVH

talented.. minus the bass player
We have Satchel to carry on Eddie's sound RIP Eddie
One of my goals in life is to see Steel Panther live🤘🤘🤘
I'm more amazed at how all 3 started playing right away without Stix counting
Did they just do the moves from VH and played smooth? Absolute gigachads.
Now this is a fun band
As funny as they are serious. SP fucking rocks. Cant wait to see them live soon.
As VHs' no 1 fan, Satch does this song justice..
Love it...
Saw these guys back in the days with Atomic Punks, you could tell they were destined for bigger things.
Wow, that was nicely done.
Michael sounds like dave but looks like axl lol
2022 sucks... I want to go back to 1984
David lee roth wishes he could sing like that
Eddie will truly be missed, but satchel does it justice!!
Satchel will become a guitar legend
It's Satchel so
Indeed he does, big time!! The beginnings of Steel Panther were when Satchel and Michael Starr were in a Van Halen tribute band out in LA called Atomic Punks
They come off as a funny/goofy act..but don't be fooled. Sp is wickedly talented. Michael Starr can sing anything and Satchel is a shred master.
And Stixx fucking rocks! And Lexi is also there!
Thought mike star was the bassist for Alice In Chains.
Satchel is a monster
Satchel is literally a professor 😂
@@gfgnickname_not_chosen2598 lol
Lol taking cred for panama love steel panther
The band that plays Van Halen better than Van Halen did last decade. RIP Eddie.
Satch is very good at Ed's sound...Can't lie...
Man these guys never disappoint and Satchel is not given enough credit as a guitar player! Killer video man!
gotta be one of the best VH covers ive seen
Satchel is one of the most underrated guitarists.
He looks like David Lee Roth and axl rose had a chubby love child
Michael Starr is what you got in a mix between David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar.
The greatest American rock band that came out in a wrong time about 30 years too late
You know how Priest got a Rob clone I'm surprised Ed never got this dude for =VH= as a Dave clone.
Satchel has some serious chops. People sometimes forget that these guys are incredible musicians because of their goofiness.
at 73 years old he still sings HAHAHAHA
That was a joke. Michael star is only 55 lol
Michael Starr (Ralph Saenz) and Satchel (Russ Parrish) were both in the premier Van Halen tribute band Atomic Punks before forming Steel Panther!
Yes! I couldn't remember the name of it, but yeah!! Atomic Punks
when i was a kid i thought the song was CANON BALL
I turned 6 years old on Oct 11 1984
🙏☯️🐲
I wasn’t a thought in the wind yet lol
That a True and master tribute to the legends........ Good Job Steel Panther.......
“If you know the word let me hear you!”
I was there \m/
these guys are SO COOL!!!!!! Never even heard of them!
Dave you're fired!!! Damn good!
Yea they are good for sure 👍
Drums sound absolutely huge
Rip eddie
Michael moves better than DLR in his prime lol
Nope, he sings better than him now, but DLR in his prime was fucking crazy.
It's David Lee Roth, without the colossal douschbaggery.,
3:12
I’d much rather see these guys play Van Halen than see actual Van Halen.
Would you rather see 80's van halen or this
@Van Damage how is this a dumb question
@Van Damage their prime was with Hagar especially live .. they were a studio band with Roth
That's what I'm talkin' about! What am I talking about?
great when they do Van Halen!
Most underrated band around.
Hey dude your screams were on point way to go
What a surprise! They rock! Fuck! Amazing
Come to Mexico!
Diamond Mike
A Blast definitely!! Erm I heard Mr. Joe Satriany is doing a Van Halen tribute tour. Maybe he should invite Michael Starr since he would suit perfectly for this new project who knows🤘🏼
Holy shit! Was that really THEM???
I was there \m/
These are bad ass indeed👍🎸🤟👍
These are bad ass indeed👍🎸🤟👍
Lexxi’s full commitment to the character in the background
My favorite Van Halen song R.I.P Eddie Van Halen , you better get back down here Eddie so you can do something about this
fuck he can wail
Best Panama cover you’ll ever see, John Mayer sucks
RIP EDDIE
Too bad they could not have done this cover on the second round of AGT. That might have blew everyone away more than butchered lyrics of Death to all but Metal.
These guys could sing the phone book n it would sound great 😎😎😎
Well They were Van Halen Cover band once upon a time.
Michael Star sings better than DLR live.
Tinham que vir ao rock in rio 2019 brasil
These guys can play anything
Michael Starr kicks DLR ass in reality, vocally 🤘
steel panther and velcro pygmies keeping real music alive
awesome
Damn.....if i close my eyes its like eddie never left us.
They are the real deal. Vox and Guit better than ...
Fucking brilliant!
halo reach
These are bad ass indeed👍🎸🤟👍
Leg kicks need to be David high.
Perfect
Des clowns!
Le deuxième guitariste qui se remet de la laque...😂😂😂😂
Trés mauvais.
Sonido de corcholatas y tiliches, nada más.
Spot on.
Sounds like a basement
Kick ass cover guys !
So Amazed - miss VH
He’s 55 not 70
Its a joke
He’s actually 85
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol
Damn Eddie, He would have pissed all over this version
The drummer should know that the kick is supposed to be nearly constant in this song.
I think it's just the quality of the recording dipping out every now and then.
@@vindict6 don’t think so.
First
also Steel Panter (aka Atomic Punks before) are great musicians! Love their shows
gayest singer on earth.
So you took the time out of your day to post this even though you don't like it?
Jake D yeah it’s called negative criticism and it’s pretty common
Nah that's Rob halford
