It’s a shame Theme of Eastern Story doesn’t appear in any of the motifs, but it’s a lovely medley. Nitori’s theme is close enough I actually mistook it for that theme the first time lol

no hit nitori may its difficult but nohit youmu or suika its also wild, i have bad memory for those
@@franxd323 Youmu is one of the easiest imo. Not much rng so you can just use the same moves every time after you figure out the sequence to dodging

Having the boss transformation be based on the current theme playing at the time is a very cool mechanic. It's genius!

It's based one what theme is playing when she uses the mimic attacks
What character she copies for the 5th and 7th spellcard depends on what part of the music is currently playing
This fight is amazing
Oh that's why it always seemed to match the character. So it's kinda possible to influence the order by just rushing/slowing down for somewhat easier spellcards
I swear the music was perfectly timed with each transformation

She was so damn tough. Died a bunch in the 9th phase but finally beat it after stopping unnecessary movements and just gunning Doremy down
Edit - Trying to no hit her was even more difficult. Have pretty much memorized the song by the end after finally succeeding lol
Is there a special ending for no hitting her? Also, is there a special item for no hitting all the challenge stages?

Was I the only one who thought Bluemu was harder than Doremy to beat? (I did it no hit)
I hope she gets some kind of challenge mode version
We are getting a free rogue lite update in autumn and dlcs too later (with one this year apparently) so there'll be more content soon
Bluemu has the issue that almost all attacks are homing ones (lasers, pink talismans, yingyang explosions), and that's the core of the challenge, I don't like it, even if it's reimu iconic bullet type.
I was expecting for some more of imperishable night spell cards, her last words spell cards were perfect ideas (I did no hit pacifist also)
