    The key to a Winter coop is ventilation without a draft. You need to get the moisture from the breathing chickens out.

    I live In the desert, so my main concerns are basically overwith for the year until next summer.
    Although, now the coyotes, hawks, owls, are on the prowl.

    I grew up in Louisiana ... I wonder why I never had frostbite problems with our chickens, pheasants, geese, ducks, guineas, and quail....
    Sorry, I know I'm trolling. Now that I live in Texas, I know living in Louisiana isn't the only solution....
