    American Firetrucks are so much more beautiful than ours (GER). Ours look all modern. Yours look like showcars with all the chrome etc.

      not a problem. The last time I saw that many fire trucks in one spot was back in December when a construction site in the West End caught fire

    Even thow some trucks don't look right as a fire truck for example the extra long international.Now at first when I saw the freight liner I thought but that does look good as a rescue unit.But them Rosenberg's u guys have r a bit strange I mean the boom aspect of it.I c the bucket on the bottom under the boom but would like 2 c how the bucket goes from the bottom 2 the up right position...

    Okay, this is what I never understand about y'all who like to watch us work, why not join us? With the right training and a good head on your shoulders you could be an extra person at a department that could use the help. I never understand these videos for that reason, good response though for a first alarm box it looks like.

      Pay Is low

    • @trainguy3
      @trainguy3 9 років тому

      I don't even get paid dude. Most of us don't. I mean, I get it that most people don't have it in them or have the time, but, and I'm being entirely serious here, we need more volunteers. I'm not just speaking for my own district, Manpower shortage is a serious issue, and I think there's a lot of people who could easily do it who have this idea that it's something they cannot do.

      E.bartel In the future I may work with my city's (paid) FD, I never necessarily visualized there being a problem with man power, budget or really anything, especially since It's Class 1. It's kind of got to the point where in my area Volunteer fire stations are nearly extinct as just about no one wants to be a volunteer. Even my area's most rural (Highway) fire departments have several paid full-time firefighters. Or should I say FF/EMT.

      Green Seen Come get a paid Fire fighting position in California, you can make 80-120 K a year.

    • @trainguy3

      I could never live in California. I'd love to work in a department with as rich a tradition as San Francisco but I couldn't live there.
