God only knows where you get all these collections, it must take a lot of effort. It is with the utmost honor I proclaim you the " Asiwaju Asa Ibile of the Yoruba Tribe Ti Ile Ti Oko". Oye Amori o. God Bless. You have no match.

I am always proud that i was tutored at Great Ife by the legendary Professor, then Dr., Ademola Popoola. He opened my eyes to the wealth of knowledge, the dexterity in the use of language and the invaluable philosophical depths these seemingly "illiterate musics" contains. In an age where we are now besotted with trash and empty sweet nonsenses masquerading as music these classics are the anchor on which our sanity rests. Egbaalake, a ma ju yin se. Asa awon Baba wa o ni pare laelae.

Good Work Egbaalake your Award is coming very soon bc you're the custodian of Yoruba music, without you people like K1 would have been calling a dog for monkey to us.

Thanks for this. You are the best. This goes to prove what i have being telling my friends that Lefty and Baba Legba were both members of Abibu's band.

Nothing can beat this among Yoruba contemporary music if these musicians are alive as of today so much meaningful compared to nonsensical music experience of today.I started listening to music of this group at school age and present day more so nothing can match it.Great job u are into Egba Ake more grease to ur elbows. As for me no music surpass this set though Lagos doesn't listen to this any more unless u tour places deep Isale Eko,Epetedo,Ofin,Lafiaji, Campos and a few others in Lagos Island

Kehinde Oloyede To best of knowledge of Sakara music...The Sakara drum is what distinguishes it from other traditional genres. In addition to the drum is the Doje. I believe its origin is Lagos Island with the influence of Islam...especially during fasting period (Were outings and competitions).
