What else does accomplishes that, isn't overtly complicated, and doesn't charge 1% in fees? Cash. I appreciate the downside risk mitigation, but curious as to why you didn't show how the strategy might have down using bull markets. My only guess is that he would be too embarrassing. I'm a big fan of Simplify ETFs but I got to call balls and strikes.
