Some apartments provide renders, yes, but not all of them. And yes, I love watching these videos as well! As for the bathroom, yes, if you have 2 bedrooms it is common for one bathroom to be insuite.
The real reason wasn't really the price increase but the fact they were not willing to negotiate and half of the building was empty. But let's not get political, maybe we will leak the full story in another video 😂😂😅😅
It’s a mix I’d say. Some industries and jobs pay more in NYC, yes. But sometimes it’s just part of “life” here. A lot of things are more expensive compared to other places, but then the city has a lot more to offer compared to those same places.
Honestly super safe! As a big city I always recommend being cautious when being in high traffic / popular areas, as you would in other countries too. But apart from that I really do feel safe and I am always takling the subway alone, walking through multiple neighborhoods, biking, etc. Hope this helps!
