I also have that Joyo overdrive. Bought it when I first started building my pedal board for £25 brand new. Intended to replace it, but it stills sounds great.
Finally got to see her live back in September after two show cancelations due to the pandemic. She’s an amazing performer and an awesome-and very unique-guitar player. Rock on, Mackenzie!
I have had them on my bass like 30 years now. Put them on after drinking Grolsch at the rehearsal space when our guitar player pointed out to put the rubbers on the bass.
Thank you for doing this rundown. I’ve been listening to Torres nonstop since. There’s something about me being like. A trans male, former (Queer) female (I own it) musician that makes it easy to spot a person, who lives in my community. Immediately went and listened to, ALL the music! “Don’t go puttin wishes in my head” is probably my favourite song now, so thanks! Sincerely.
Shes going TOO the pedal for the answer to the issue. She should be looking at which pickup to switch to, to help the tracking, as well as her picking hand location (especially when not using a pick). As with any journey or obstacle in life, look inward, if you cant change the outward🤗
Not that I have any obligation to justify myself to anyone. I've been playing guitar professionally for 30 years. If you folks who actually think this person can play would check out those who are real guitarists, you would understand my point of view. Cases in point: Shawn Lane, Tommy Emmanuel, John McLaughlin, George Harrison, Eric Johnson, Ty Tabor, Steve Lukather, etc., etc.

Chris did you ask why there is tape in the pups?
Chris is the Nardwuar of rig rundowns, he knows stuff that even the artists forget🤣🤣🤣
Would be funny if he interviewed them in the same super intense manner.
@@standinsilence imagine if he brought them each some obscure gift too
@@andrewlehman1818 LOL yeah..
Or imagine Nardwuar interviewing Rebecca Dirks.
Never heard of her, cool stuff! The bit where she plays with the Afterneath... Got some proper Stars of the Lid vibes.
Love that the pedalboard chat is more than half of the video. My kinda RR.

Grolsch Lager needs to promote the use of those rubber stoppers as strap locks.
I use em'...after i went to a proper German pub and raided their trash can😂
@@gregmize01 The mother load!

Grolsch needs to sponsor the Rig Rundown and get some free beer in the hands of Perry and Chris!
Perry behind the camera laughing about the Grolsch. Ha!
She’s so great live
She tried so hard to tame that damn petal. 🎸🦝
when the high school point guard accidentally walks into the band room and never leaves.... we get torres!

Try moving the Merris up in the chain. Everything in front of it just confuses the tracking.

No dis but imo Rebecca Dirks interview with stachel was the most iconic premier guitar video upload
Good rundown! I just brought a Thinline into the herd! 👍
Great rig rundown !
Great stuff! :)
Good choice of Telecasters .
Joyo for the win lol!
8:22 that's what she said.
Supporting my want of an Afterneath
Love her!
Nice telly
Rig
Damn girl turn up your tone knob
She does have the Enzo on her touring board but she doesn't have a clue on how it works ... that's a good sign.
I’ve had mine a few years and I always forget how to use it…lots of happy accidents.
Happy accidents. Hmmmm bob ross
Bet you're the greatest guitarist ever.
@@mariamachuca3993 not even close, but at least I know how my gear works
Do you feel funny or inadaquate standing next to a women taller than you? Thanks shorty!
Well....I suppose you've brought something to the table.
Nah, I'm confident in my (short) skin. Plus, those chunky Dr. Martens help anyone gain a few inches.
Remember: interviews are not the same as live performances. The interview is absolutely terrible, so that means the live performance must be good
Mehh...
I recommend some dry shampoo for that hair.
Sorry! Really not a fan of this presenter! 🤷🏻♂️
He's the only one who knows the band's history and asks all the right questions.
@@ileutur6863 I get that. Seen him in lots of videos. Just my opinion.

Not a guitar player. Sucks bottom.line.
Where's your rig rundown video?
Lots of different kinds of guitar players. That's what makes guitars so great. Pick one up, learn how to play it your way.

@@pleasegrowabrain no one is saying those are bad players. You're the one attacking a stranger for trying to be creative.
@@beavis178 It's an observation, not an "attack". Grow up for god's sake.
