The world of Japan street interview topics is hilarious. Sometimes you don't even realize how strange it is to watch a video about the rudeness level of slurping noodles LOL. As always thank you for double subtitles!
eating Japanese food not only in Japan but also in anywhere, you should never complain about how to eat it should we eat a hamburger with a fork & knife? should we eat tacos with chop sticks? should we eat a hamburger with chop sticks? if we don't do it, is it considered BAD MANNER in a particular country? you need to understand their original culture, where the cuisine is come from, then you need to follow that custom if you want to taste it the best out of it, and never complain, because it is the culture
I am a Burmese citizen living in Myanmar. I’ve been told that slurping is bad manners but I’ve been doing it since I am like 6 or 7 years old so I can’t stop 😂
Haha, I think slurping will be something I need to learn when going. And yes, thanks for the subtitles. I don't know if it is much work for you but I think it is a huge upgrade for learners if you can also upload the subtitle file to youtube. (This way we can use yomitan to translate or describe words). I will come back and watch your videos either way ;)
そのインタビュー作っていただいてありがとうございます。意見は全部とても面白くて興味深いです!次の動画を楽しみにしています!!✨ 日本語をまだ学習者なので今から私は英語を使わなければいけません。 On a different topic, I wonder what are the views of japanese society on climate change and carbon footprint. In various country people speak about sobriety as a solution to the environmental problem, by reducing their energy consumption, avoiding the plane, consuming localy, reducing waste etc. It seems that people think more about what they eat too : how food is produced ? Is it respectful for the environment? Was it produced localy? How was it transported to me ? etc... As as lot of people this concerns me a lot and I would be very interested to know what people say about it in Japan 🙂 Sometimes it can be depressing to inform ourselves about this topic and we avoid it but I also think it's important to talk to each other about it and share our discoveries and tips to keep the motivation and make things better 🌻 Sorry for that long message 😅 And again thank you for all your videos and dual subtitles (it's great !), while learning japanese it is really motivating to learn about subjects of society and views of individuals about life in Japan !
Well western culture was not allowed to make noise or even talk during dinner at one time. There are still people who think this so slurping would be even worse I've heard Japanese say the noodles taste better similar to what they do when wine-tasting but I think originally they just didn't see it as bad. That's it..
I travelled 4 times last year to japan and i just returned i think there is logic to the slurping, its to reduce the heat of the noodles in order to let the mouth acoustmn to the to hot noodles.
@@i.am.yurichan There are many subtitle in your video. Such as english, Arabia, chinese, french, Korean, spanish, italian etc. I think google provide those language subtitle. Please abb bangla auto subtitle. 🙂
Japanese are well known for bad table manners. They even use two pieces of wood to eat with 😮 Fact is, slurping hot noodles helps to cool them a little and introduce air into mouth, which enhances taste 👍 I fully support slurping hot ramen 🍜 I just wish there was a good Ramen-ya nearby 😢

Hi Yuri! Do you know what font you use in your thumbnail? I love it!
Thank you😭😭
@@i.am.yurichan ? 😅
This technique is simply effective for eating hot noodles with chopsticks. I guess Japanese people eat all other food quietly.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Zuru zuru!! 🍜🍜🍜
Zuruzuru!🍜☺️
Do people still slurp even if the food is not delicious? Aside from giving respects.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
