Ah.. Buddha dhamma is uncomparable and really superior and surprasses all other false doctrines. For the sake of the Buddha wisdom, Buddhas of the past, present and future practice and perfect numerous paramitas and their merit is just incomparable to anyone.
I read in the sutras that bodhisattavas merits while practicing dhamma becomes so vast that they acquire vast supernatural powers and wherever they go treasures and foods of 100 flavors spontaneously appear. Through pure wisdom and real compassion, they teach and transform numerous beings and rescue them.
Good Indeed, they do things which are very hard to do.

This is a lesson to many countries that treat their citizens like trash!
Lesson: Treat all beings equally but as normal beings, we have illusions & perceptions, that's where the discrimination comes in. Thus, the reaction from the monk. He reacted based on his perceptions and not an open heart.
Manjushri Bodhisattva said the heart should be as vast as the earth and land, as no attachments (my pov) like the wind, fire and water, & to treat all as equal.
We have already abandoned hundreds of our physical bodies. Even in our current life, the 'shell'/body we are using now is not ours too. One day we have to leave this body we are in. So, why can’t we abandon the greed & hatred since we can abandon our bodies?
What’s there not to abandon or we can’t abandon.
p/s (Buddhism believes people has to go through reincarnation for lifetimes after lifetimes)
This is such a big and important lesson to us, ordinary beings. May everyone be liberated from affliction, hatred, greed, ignorance and be born into the Land of Ultimate Bliss.
I hope that you, Buddhists and friends will join hands in spinning the Dharma wheel for the benefit of all beings.
May the merit and virtue accrued from this work,
Adorn the Buddhas' Pure Land,
Repaying four kinds of kindness above,
And aiding those suffering in the paths below.
May those who see and hear of this,

And when this retribution body is over,

劫前證龍種 雲外吼金獅
He who roared like a golden lion throughout the (dharma) cloud when he attained Buddhahood (many) eons ago, whose name is Dragon Seed (Superior Tathagata).
五台金色界 文殊法王子
Prince of the dharma, Manjushri is (now) residing at mount WuTai of the golden realm.
功德難量 寶智透心光
His (countless) merits are hard to measure, his gemlike wisdom illuminates the mind.
利劍斬煩惱 猛獸伏清涼
Just like sharp swords can sever all defilements, (the mind whose like) those dreadful beasts can be tamed (by pure wisdom).
大智妙吉祥 感應遍十方
His great wisdom with wonderful auspiciousness can be felt throughout the ten directions.
時時處處不忘 悲智雙運度有情
He never forgets to use both of his compassion and wisdom to deliver sentient beings everywhere all the time.

In Nepal we are taught manjushri to be male, he have two wife mokchyada and barada, who are also known as shaktis, bodhiswatwa wife in buddhism, which is mentioned in swoembhu puran
Manjushri is Male. Chinese ministranslations caused Manjushri and Avalokiteshwar to be depicted as female. That is why people should learn from original pali or sanskrit(surviving) texts . I mean it's directly in the name AvalokiteESHWAR and not Avalokiteshwari . Manjushri KUMARAbhuta . Since you are from Nepal I am assuming you are familiar with Manjushri Namasangiti.
