- Dive back into Into Powmill Quarry 2024. See classic British cars underwater Including Mk 1 Ford Cortina, Mk 2 Ford Escort, Mk 2 Ford Fiesta XR2I, Vauxhall Cavalier SRI, Hillman Imp, Morris Minor car and van. Also a classic Japanese motorcycle and much more.
Thats just amazing what you found down there! But sad at the same time.
The wee fiesta looks still in no bad condition
I would love to be able to go diving into our local lakes, but I'm an overweight 57 year old! So no chance now.

Bloodyhell there’s some classics down there. I’ve always been a massive car guy, I’m in my late 30s now but growing up in the 90s you couldn’t go down a country lane in the back seat of the parents motor without seing a burnt out car and even my dads Granada got stole around 89 and set on fire and pushed in a canal that got stuck on the edge and I remember that day we went to the recovery yard to look at it half burnt, half not so I guess that’s where my fascination comes from of the unknowing thought of how? when? & why? they end up where they do. Loving this content. I’d love for you to dive the car cave in Wales as I’ve seen videos of the massive stack above the water but it goes further under water with cars and it looks deceptively deep and it’s already dangerous to access where the water level is.

Just shows how easy Fords n vauxhalls how easy they were to Nick. Obviously the Ford Anglia minus its roof was dumped & the stock car with 220 on it. Not surprised theirs a lada in their best place for it , not seen 1 in well over 20 years. Opel Kadett 1.3SR had 1 on a V reg around 1990 as his 1st car same as Mk1 Astra but went on sale here before Astra.

A load of cars in a quarry were i live in Wakefield, Horbury Sandquarry, it was for the maintenance of the M1 when.it was been created & due to bad weather flooded while doing it, its right at the very side of an m1 bridge & is full of cars. Interesting video newest car in their must be the Corsa B which i think that shape at the most is about 22 years old.
