"Speed kills, speed kills, speeding is bad", say the media, but this is 100 times worse. THIS does kill. Texting while driving is incredibly reckless. I can't believe that not only people actually do it, but it's so casual that they record themselves as if it's a normal thing to do while driving, and publish it on UA-cam. People who text while driving should be arrested for willingly endangering people's lives.
Can you use a dash cam battery such as a cell link neo for the parking mode and can you use a suction mount from another Garmin and last but not least will the motion sensor on the inside camera record if someone should scratch the side of your car
Thanks for the vid but I feel the need to say that it is because of people like you that sends texts while driving that us law abiding people are purchasing dash cams.

Yes, but of course it depends on the distance, weather, light, speed and etc. For the most part I was able to read them.

I Love Garmin , i had bought a High Dollar Tom Tom awhile back before GPS were popular , working for the cable co , for 25 years , my efficiency went through the roof and management just Loved it and wondered how i was able to complete jobs so quickly , after they found out i had a Tom Tom GPS i had to buy a Garmin because Tom Tom would no longer do updates for maps and Garmin did , the company went and bought a few 1000 Garmins to the cable co advantage ! i am looking for Garmin Product that can record Front windshield and Rear windshield and keep the interior recording as well ?
Good review, however u didn’t cover the parking mode and G sensor activation function of the camera.
Do you know how they work? Or link to a video that includes that in tutorial?
In parking mode does the camera record only when sensing motion or it will also start to record if it senses a impact anywhere on the video?

I believe it's only by the motion and you might need to buy separate cable to connect directly to the vehicle power source.
How did you create this video (with both front and back), what app did you use?
Just ordered one a few days ago, suppose to get tomorrow.. I looked all over if this came with a SD card and it seemed that it did not so I ordered a Samsung 128Gb U3.. So there is a SD card with this then.. Oh, well, I hear that they wear out so I'll have an extra.. thanks for the video.. My first try with one of these, trying to learn all I can... ::))

Does the mount on the windsheild adhere permanently? Can I attach it to another car and still stick?
Just like any double sided tape it might be tough to remove and might not be as sticky and strong afterwards but I guess it's possible. I recommend buying separately just the windshield adhere and than you can easily transfer camera to other vehicles

Yes, the sound is from the camera.
is drive apps compatible for iphone xr? i cant figure it out how to setup to view both side on my iphone
Dumb question, but as it comes with a double usb slot / charger, im assuming you can use the phone as a "tomtom" while the dashcam just does its thing and saves all footage to its sd card?
I mean, you dont need to leave the phone connected all the time to the dashcam through the app, is what im asking i guess.
Sorry very new to dashcams but now looking around whats good and/or bad after a near accident where the ahole just drove off after almost ramming into me from the back.
You are correct. You do not need to have your phone always connected. It will do it's thing. Good luck and stay safe.

Some parts of video are same some are different. But yes, you can record both front and interior at once.

And, seems the center of the windshield is the best spot to set up this camera. Quite different from other cams.
Did yours ever over heat due to park mode? If so, how did you fix it?
Mine never over heated and haven't heard of any that did. Try contacting Garmin they should be able to help.

Yes you can.
I use the SD Card that came with it.
Sorry forgot to mention the voice command. I don't like using it so forgot to include it in the video.

Hello, Is it showing speed camera on the way? I have model 66W and it always detect speed camera about 500m distance, if this version have same ability will be grate :)
I don't know why some of his video doesn't show the speed. My dash cam (Garmin Tandem) shows the speed all the time

Your seat is way too far back, your arms should be slightly bent when you assume a normal driving position. If you ever get into an accident you're going to break your arms because they'll bend the wrong way.

6:42 in the video. Why would you need to take a photo/video of the police with your cellphone while already running the dash cam? Old habits die hard I guess…
